Kelli Potter is sharing new details about where she stands with her ex-husband, Chuvalo “Mark” Ferrell, after their 2025 divorce. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member had been married to her ex for about 11 years prior to the end of their relationship and is opening up about their dynamic today.

But, Kelli admitted to The Daily Dish in May that her relationship amid co-parenting with Mark is a work in progress. “We are working on it,” she said, with a laugh.
Kelli is the mom to four daughters, Chloe, Chance, Chasiti, and Chelsi. Chloe is her daughter from her previous relationship, while she shares her three youngest kids with Mark. And they still keep in contact with him following their separation. “We still have some court issues that are going on,” she continued. “And hopefully, God willing, my girls still talk to him all the time. And hopefully we will come to some clarity in regards to when they will see him.”

Kelli further explained to The Daily Dish that all of her daughters are doing so well after the divorce. “My girls are great,” she admitted. “Oh my God, they’re so good.”
“Chloe is working it at Spelman, honey. She is having the best time of her life,” she continued. “Chance is thriving. And the twins are just doing what twins do. Breaking mommy’s pockets. But everyone’s good….Everybody is happy and doing well. We look forward to the summer and vacationing, and spending some time with mommy, and just having some good mommy and me vacations coming up.”

Kelli’s divorce from Mark has also led her to change her last name from Ferrell back to Potter, her maiden name. She told The Daily Dish that becoming Kelli Potter again feels “so good.” “It feels really good,” she said.
“I didn’t realize how much it would affect me until going back to it, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, it feels so good just to be back to myself,'” she continued. “Yeah. So I’m enjoying it.”

Kelli was married to Chuvalo “Mark” Ferrell for more than a decade. Mark is a “passionate restaurateur” and founder of Uncle Butch’s Chicken and Waffles, and has more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, according to Voyage ATL.

Kelli had spoken to The Daily Dish in 2025 when her divorce was finalized, where she opened up about closing this chapter in her life. “I feel good,” she said. “Even though it’s official, it feels like things still don’t end. You have to still co-parent with someone you’re trying to heal from.”
Although Kelli admitted that juggling her career as a restaurateur and being a mom of four is a struggle, she is happy to do it alongside her daughters. “I’m trying to figure it all out. Single mom life is not for the weak,” she explained. “I’m handing it with as much grace as I can. I am so grateful for my daughters.”
