Tom Schwartz is teasing the next step in his career and how it could involve Summer House‘s Carl Radke. The Valley cast member has worn so many hats in his work life over the years, as he’s been a model, restaurateur, amateur DJ, actor, and now possibly a food entrepreneur.

Tom spoke with The Daily Dish in late April, where he revealed that he might want to get into the food space with the help of Carl, the owner of the Brooklyn-based non-alcoholic bar and café, Soft Bar. “I want to move into the health and wellness space,” Tom admitted. “Specifically, me and Carl were talking about this earlier.”
Tom continued, noting that he can never find a “fun and satisfying” snack at the airport that’s also healthy. Which is where his new business would come in. “There’s not many good options,” he explained. “And that’s a problem for me because I’m a snack monster. I’d like to move into the premium snack space.”
Tom Schwartz reveals what’s next for his podcast, Detox Retox
Tom’s podcast, Detox Retox, has also been keeping him busy. He admitted that he is “obsessed” with recording his podcast, where he talks to guests and explores different topics each week. “Mine is kind of like an audio diary,” he explained in our exclusive chat. “And it’s like one week of kind of nourishing the mind, body, soul, trying to level up. And then the next week we treat ourselves. We don’t feel bad about feeling good. But ultimately, it’s just the quest for balance and harmony in an ever crazy world.”
He continued, revealing that his guests have even connected with his dogs. “I kind of did it as a cheat code to travel the world, try new things. I had a pet psychic on recently,” he admitted. “We talked about Butters, and it was very fascinating. I did this quantum healing session. I don’t know exactly how to describe it still. But it was so moving. She removed all these energy blockages, and I cried like nine times. And I get to meet so many fascinating people.”

Although Tom wants to get into the snack space in the future, he does have some plans in store for Detox Retox. “I hope to turn that into a show, but I’ll probably just turn it into a YouTube channel,” he explained. “The dream would be to turn it into a show.”
Tom Schwartz reveals if he would work with Tom Sandoval again
However, the one thing that Tom won’t be doing again in the future is opening a bar with Vanderpump Rules alum and BFF Tom Sandoval after they opened TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy’s together. “I don’t think that I would ever open a bar with Tom again,” he further admitted.
“But I hope to work with him again ’cause I love Tom. And we really do have a good collaborative energy. I enjoy working with Tom,” he noted. “We’re so different, but we’re also a lot alike. I feel like we really balance each other out. We really do. But I hope someday we can work together in some capacity. You know what I mean?”
