When K. Michelle vaguely referenced an alleged “scheme” and behind-the-scenes “plotting” against her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, perhaps nobody was more confused than the majority of her castmates. Luckily, the Season 17 newcomer offered viewers more intel on what she was talking about in Episode 7.

“Last night after we left dinner, someone called me and said that there was a plot and a plan this whole time from some of these ladies,” K. Michelle explained to a producer, before eventually shedding more light on the matter.

The musician went on to detail how some of her castmates were supposedly planning to falsely claim that she had a romantic relationship with Drew Sidora’s “friend” Blakk Tatted in the past. The second part of the “plot,” she said, involved them also exposing “a rumor that a disgruntled ex said eight years ago.” An onscreen headline, meanwhile, implied that this rumor was related to comments K. Michelle’s ex made about her “lady parts,” several years ago.
“I already know who you contacted, what blogs you’ve called,” she added in a confessional. “To go read that and want to spread that, I think that is very disheartening. And that shows the character of these women.”

K. Michelle eventually named Drew, Porsha Williams, and Phaedra Parks as the alleged masterminds behind “what was being prepared in order to take me down.”
She also revealed that she had already filled in Shamea Morton and Kelli Potter on the specifics of the alleged “scheme” before also looping in her sorority sister Pinky Cole.
“I am heartbroken,” K. Michelle further shared in her producer interview. “The trauma that was caused by the rumor, it really hasn’t gotten better. I can say, ‘I’m healed! I’m healed!’ like a lot of people, but I haven’t. And I don’t know when I will.”
Why K. Michelle did not fully confront her castmates behind the “scheme” on RHOA — yet
K. Michelle instantly broke into tears when the topic first arose during the Cynthia Bailey-hosted Dallas trip in RHOA‘s May 17 episode. “I don’t know how y’all can sit here and say you care about people when y’all be sitting there plotting and trying to do stuff to people,” she vented at breakfast. “If I know that a motherf–ker is sitting there plotting my hurt, I’m not gonna smile in your face. I know exactly the whole plot.”
All of the ladies, though puzzled by her statement, quickly rallied to support K. Michelle, but she refused to answer their questions about which of them she was accusing of conspiring against her. She simply told the women that she was “not in a space” to talk about everything quite yet.
During her post-breakfast walk with Shamea, Kelli, and Pinky, however, K. Michelle issued a warning that she was “gonna curse all of them the f–k out,” if her anger continued “building up” the way it was. When Pinky asked if K. Michelle was actually going to say something to the suspected trio of culprits, she responded in the negative, however, reasoning that “evil folk just stay evil.”
Later, Shamea assembled the cast for a meeting to clear her name amid speculation that she was the one who had leaked the intel to K. Michelle. During that sit-down, the “Jack Daniel’s” singer offered her fellow peach holders some more breadcrumbs but still refused to go into full detail.

“I’m just not ready,” she told them. “It is a situation that I feel is hurtful towards me. This person knows exactly the little comments and what they were doing. They can act as stupid as they want to be, and that is all good. … Just know that I know.”
In the middle of her explanation, a clip of Porsha commenting on the “scent” of an oyster during their dinner the night before hinted that she was the castmate K. Michelle was referring to in that moment.
As K. Michelle further stated later in the episode, she did not want to ruin Cynthia’s big gala. That said, she promised that she would address the situation more fully once they all returned to Atlanta.
