Dorit Kemsley is sharing new details about where she stands with Erika Jayne today. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members did not see eye-to-eye during RHOBH Season 15 and did not make amends at the reunion. However, Dorit is optimistic about the future of their friendship.
Dorit recently spoke with Extra TV, where she shed new light on her friendship with Erika. She admitted that she has talked to Erika since the three-part RHOBH Season 15 reunion. “We have sent some messages back and forth,” she said in a clip posted to Instagram on Thursday, May 21.
And they have been positive text messages. “Really warm and supportive messages,” she clarified. “I messaged her, and she wrote back to me straight away, echoing a very supportive message. And she reached out to me.”
She continued, noting that she’s “hopeful” about their reconciliation. “Listen, you know, it’s an almost 10-year friendship and a very close one. With a lot of love and a lot of care,” she admitted. “Erika and I, you know, we haven’t had a cross word, so I really believe that this is something that we can both get over.”

Dorit told the outlet that she was “surprised” by how her and Erika’s friendship played out during the season. Especially when Erika did not attend the release party for the cover of her forthcoming memoir, Unburdened.Â
“I was really surprised and hurt that she didn’t come to my memoir release party, and she didn’t message me and didn’t let me know,” Dorit stated. “You know, in my heart, and I was already going through so much, and when you’re in the thick of it, you need support more than anything. And so when you’re not getting it from the people who’re supposed to be closest to you, it’s heartbreaking. And when you are already emotionally exhausted, you’re not your best self. You’re not reacting the way you would with clarity, with perspective, being grounded. I think that’s been the most difficult part of this chapter.”

Erika Jayne reveals why she didn’t attend Dorit Kemsley’s memoir cover release party
Erika had opened up about her absence from the cover release party during an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. “After the fight that Dorit and I got [into] in Italy, I was very hurt. And I ain’t doing that,” she told a producer.
But, she hasn’t ruled out celebrating with her in the future. “I look forward to celebrating with Dorit when she has her book out, and it’s here, and she’s written it, and time has passed, and we can have a conversation,” she continued. “And hopefully we all are in a better place. I want to celebrate that with her.”
