West Wilson is not on any dating apps at the moment and hasn’t been for a while. The Summer House cast member confirmed his romance with his cast member, Amanda Batula, in March, and is now clarifying his activity on dating apps.Â
West appeared on his podcast, Show Me Something, on May 21, where he admitted that he hasn’t been on the dating app, Raya, or any of them for the past three years. “People have been making fake Rayas of me in the last six months,” he said during the episode. “I’m not on Raya or a dating app, but I haven’t been on dating apps since like, I think 2023 or 2022.”
“Yeah, I haven’t been on dating apps in a long, long, long, long time,” he noted.
He continued, joking about the people who pretend to be him to get dates. “I just hope that when the fake me’s DM girls, they’re like, not using wack game,” he joked. “Like, if you’re gonna pretend to be me on the internet, don’t be a f—ing dork ass loser.”
West Wilson opens up about the timeline of his relationship with Amanda Batula
West had previously taken to Show Me Something on April 20, where he opened up about his romance with Amanda. During the episode, he revealed that he waited until Amanda was separated from her husband, Kyle Cooke, before they began exploring their connection and dating.
“There was no overlap,” he said. “I know there’s a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing for sure did not happen. Everyone was single, like I said earlier. So then we realized things are maybe a bit serious in February, and that’s when this all started, and there’s not a whole lot more to it than that.”

Amanda Batula and West Wilson share a statement about their relationship
West and Amanda took to their Instagram Stories in late March, where they released a joint statement about their connection. They wrote: “We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care. As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
