Although Carl Radke and Amanda Batula have developed a friendship over the last decade on Summer House, he recently revealed they stand on rocky ground after her romantic relationship with West Wilson was dissected during the Season 10 reunion taping.
“We’ve texted after the reunion. She wished me luck in London, at the marathon. She wanted to try and catch up at some point…but I’m also just taking some time here,” Carl admitted during his May 12 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
As far as where Carl stands with West, he shared their friendship is non-existent at the moment. “He texted me two different times right after the reunion. I appreciate the texts…but I — even things that I’ve learned over the last week, has just been like… the stuff keeps piling on and piling on. It’s messy,” Carl explained, hinting that he hasn’t communicated with West.
Carl then weighed in on West and Amanda’s relationship when Andy Cohen asked if he believed they’d “last.” His answer? “Absolutely not.”
Carl Radke reveals what he noticed about Amanda Batula on Summer House Season 10
As the end of Amanda’s marriage to Kyle Cooke played out on Summer House Season 10, Carl admitted he’s taking a different look at Amanda and West’s behavior last summer, in light of their relationship now. He specifically shared his thoughts on WWHL about Amanda and Mia Calabese’s beach conversation during the May 5 episode, where they talked about the idea of West getting back together with Ciara Miller.
“I know how much Mia really cares for Ciara, and what Amanda was saying — and then what we’re watching and dealing with now — it’s disappointing,” he said.

Carl also alluded to a difference in Amanda’s behavior dating back to the spring of 2025, ahead of Summer House Season 10 filming. “I do care for Amanda, but what I’ve seen and heard over the last year and a half — like, something kind of changed last spring…her energy around Kyle was like he didn’t even exist,” he added.
Carl also weighed in on Amanda and West’s behavior towards each other over the season. “It’s uncomfortable to watch,” he expressed.
Carl specifically pointed out the moment West pulled his chair closer to Amanda during an intense dinner conversation with Kyle during the May 5 episode. Amanda later thanked West for his actions, and told him, “I love you,” as they hugged.
“I will say, like some of West’s hands on a woman who’s married, I’m not cool with,” Carl said. “Like, you don’t touch women in their midriff or their neck if they’re in a committed relationship like that. I don’t care how friendly you are. Some of the touching — watching back — is really uncomfortable, and not okay.”
Carl Radke teases what’s to come during the Summer House Season 10 reunion
Carl warned fireworks are coming during the Summer House Season 10 reunion. “I was hoping going into it we could set a higher standard for ourselves, but within two minutes, the wheels were off,” he teased.
He called the hours-long filming “incredibly emotional, adding, “I think we were learning things in real time, which also was very hard for a lot of us to digest. There’s real hurt. There’s real emotions. There’s real lies. We’re a real family, and it was uncomfortable.”
