West Wilson has met up with Kyle Cooke after the Summer House Season 10 reunion and is sharing new details about that. West confirmed in March that he was in a “romance” with Kyle’s ex-wife, Amanda Batula, and is now revealing where he stands with Kyle today.

How to Watch

Summer House Season 10 airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes stream next day on Peacock.

West took to his podcast, Show Me Something, on May 25, where he admitted that he met up with Kyle a week prior to the episode taping, and he’s trying to get into a better place with him. “I don’t want to say it’s, I’m not going to say it’s good. Nothing’s perfect right now,” West said during the episode. “We talked for three hours on Wednesday.”

He continued, noting that he made “a lot of progress” with the Loverboy founder during their conversation. “It was not a gunfight,” he explained. “It was very calm and peaceful, and trying to hear each other and get to a better place. And so I really appreciate him doing that. One, just hearing me out. Two, just being nice about it. And then three, hopefully ending on that note, will be better for me because it was a much better environment to talk about everything than the reunion was.”

West Wilson reveals where he stands with Jesse Solomon today

West continued during the podcast, revealing that he is still in a good place with Jesse Solomon. “Jesse’s really good on checking in with me,” West admitted. “He’s not by any means being an enabler or choosing Amanda’s side or my side, but he cares about the both of us and is still a friend.”

He revealed that Jesse even texted him when he recently performed in West’s home state of Missouri. “He performed in Kansas City, actually,” he said. “And he sent me pictures at Joe’s Barbecue and stuff like that. So yeah, that’s good, too. It’s one of those things where I don’t want to force it, but he’s been a good friend through all of this. So I appreciate him.”

West Wilson responds to Ciara Miller’s reaction to his relationship with Amanda Batula

West also cleared up any misconceptions about his intentions with Ciara after Summer House Season 10. West and Ciara had flirted throughout the season, following their breakup after Summer House Season 8, and even shared a kiss in the Season 10 finale. But West admitted on the podcast that he has had time to reflect on their kiss and Ciara’s reaction to his romance with Amanda.

“I’ve been in such survival mode that I haven’t taken the time to process it. I was trying to survive and keep it moving and stay distracted,” he admitted. “I kind of have run out of steam the last few weeks, and I’ve had a lot of time to think and reflect on it. I’ve already said that on this podcast multiple times, but I know people’s feelings are hurt, especially Ciara and Kyle, no s–t. And so even there’s so much gray area up for interpretation, at least with Ciara and I, cause then again, the end of summer, we were canoodling again.”

“In the episode I told Ben [Waddell] I wasn’t trying to be a boyfriend or whatever,” he continued. “I think it still is a shock to the system, and people feel betrayed, which I guess you’ll see in the reunion. I’m not trying to convince anyone that their feelings don’t matter because they do. But I also think that feelings can matter and be valid, but also is not always reality or truth.”
