Dorit Kemsley is opening up about where she stands with Kyle Richards following The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 reunion. Dorit and Kyle had their differences throughout the season after years of friendship, but she is optimistic about where their friendship is headed.
Dorit spoke to Extra earlier this month, where she admitted that she has not spoken to Kyle since the RHOBH Season 15 reunion. “I have not spoken to Kyle, no,” she said in a clip posted to Instagram on May 22.Â
However, she is open to speaking to her again. “Listen, I think you need two people. Any type of resolve, you need two people. And I’ve always said that. And I’ve also always said because truly I’m the type of person where there’s nothing that you can’t get over if two people want to,” she continued. “And I’m always open to it. Always open to it.”
“And I think if Kyle feels the same way, then there’s room,” she frankly stated. “If she doesn’t, it’s not something that I’m not going to push my way to try and mend things if that’s not in her heart. I know she cares about me. I care about her. I care about her daughters immensely.”
She further admitted that their history of being friends has made things complicated between them. “It’s a very long friendship,” she added. “Kyle and I’ve sort of had some ups and downs over the last [few years]. And that makes things a little trickier.”

Dorit admitted to the outlet that she could see herself repairing her friendship with Kyle. “I do believe truly that Kyle and I will absolutely be able to have some type of relationship at some point,” she admitted.

However, Dorit admitted that Kyle was not there for her when she needed her amid her divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley. “When you’re really going through such a difficult time, and it’s public. I mean, it’s nothing that people aren’t aware of, especially your close friends. You would expect, if they are your close friends, that they would be there in support,” she admitted. “I think some of the challenges that we’ve had is her idea of support and my idea of support. And I think that’s where it gets complicated.”
“But I also think when you’re in a friendship where you have to debate the word support, you don’t want to have to ask for support,” she concluded.

Kyle Richards admits she would like to repair her friendship with Dorit Kemsley
Kyle has also expressed her interest in repairing her friendship with Dorit. She appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show ahead of the Season 15 reunion, where she admitted that she was optimistic about their reconciliation. “I would hope that there’s been enough time that has passed that Dorit’s in a better place, that she’s taken the time that she needs,” Kyle said. “And that she would be open to mending things and not come in guns blazing.”
