Carl Radke is sharing a major update on where he stands with Summer House newcomer Bailey Taylor today. The NYC residents flirted throughout Summer House Season 10 before having a steamy makeout session toward the end of the season. And they are still close to this day.
Carl took to his Instagram Story earlier this week, where he posted a photo of himself, Bailey, and In The City cast member, Yvonne Najor, at an event. In the photo, the trio can be seen sitting down at a dinner table, smiling for the camera, while Carl and Bailey sat directly beside each other.
But, according to Carl, he is just friends with Bailey. The Soft Bar owner appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on May 12, where he admitted that he is not in a romantic relationship with Bailey and that things are just platonic between them. “She’s great. We have a great friendship. I think what you saw this summer, I’m watching back differently now,” he admitted. “Since the summer, it’s been friendly, we’ve hung out a lot. But it’s been friends. Just friends.”

During Part 1 of the uncensored and extended version of the Summer House Season 10 reunion on Peacock, both Bailey and Carl shared why things didn’t work out between them. Although Carl told his ex-fiancée, Lindsay Hubbard, that he “would” go for Bailey, he admitted to liking where they’re at right now. “I’m just liking the friendship,” Carl said.
“And we’re just in very different places in our lives,” Bailey added. “You’re a lot older than me. But I feel like mentally he’s in a place of wanting to be married and knows exactly what he wants.”
“I’m not trying to f–k around,” Carl added. “I’m really trying to date seriously and get married and have a family at some point.”

Carl had previously spoken with The Daily Dish in January, where he admitted that he has a lot of shared similarities with Bailey. “There’s like a similar frequency that we’re on,” he explained. “And I’m not always on the same frequency with a lot of people, but she’s very in touch with her emotions, and she has a vulnerable side to her.”

Bailey also explained to The Daily Dish in a separate conversation back in February that she also had her eye on Carl going into her first season of Summer House. “Everyone was hot,” she admitted. “So initially you’re kind of like, ‘OK, who’s attractive?’ And then you get to know these people. And you kind of are like, ‘Whose personality am I attracted to?’ And so my crush was 100 percent: Carl.”

When further asked about the state of her love life these days, Bailey shared a rather colorful update, noting that it’s “a funeral… a car crash.” She added, “A train crashed into a car, and they both exploded.”
