Dorit Kemsley is sharing major updates on her relationship with her ex-husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom of two admitted during the RHOBH Season 15 reunion that she is in a good place with PK, and is continuing to open up about where they stand now as they navigate their divorce.
Dorit spoke with Extra recently, where she admitted that things are up and down between her and PK. “We’ve been separated for almost two years. The majority of the time, he has refused to have any kind of relationship. It’s very difficult to co-parent when you have that happening,” she explained in a clip posted to Instagram. “And it feels like I’ve spent the majority of the time trying to nurture a friendship, any kind of relationship, respectful, and peaceful.”
She continued, noting that things have improved between them. “But for whatever reason, he found that difficult, and I think now I’m starting to see some signs, occasionally, that he may want that,” she noted. “But I’m hesitant because I get one foot in and then shockingly blindsided by pulling out.”

She admitted to the outlet that she would like to proceed with her divorce from PK amicably. This is for the sake of their two children, 12-year-old son Jagger Kemsley and 10-year-old daughter Phoenix Kemsley.
“If I had it my way, we’d be able to have an amicable divorce and to come out with some type of peaceful, respectful friendship, relationship so that we can effectively co-parent,” she said. “That would be my dream.”

Dorit took to Instagram on May 10, where she admitted that parenting hasn’t been easy amid her split from PK. But she’s trying her hardest to make life as normal for her family as possible. “No matter what life brings, I have always wanted my children to feel held by love,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “To grow up surrounded by warmth, laughter, comfort, and the certainty that they never had to carry the weight of the adult world around them. That they were free to simply be children because someone was always protecting the peace and safety of their world.”
“This chapter has challenged me deeply, but also clarified everything that truly matters,” she continued. Showing up. Being present. Protecting their peace. Creating stability even in uncertain moments. Loving them so fully and consistently that they never spend a second questioning how deeply cherished they are. At the end of the day, being Phoenix and Jagger’s mama is the greatest purpose, privilege, and responsibility in my life, and there is nothing I would not do for them.”
