Luke Broderick is sharing what’s next for his relationship with Kristen Doute. The Valley cast members are engaged to be married while navigating life as the parents to 11-month-old daughter, Kaia Lilly Broderick, and they currently have their hands full.

The podcast host spoke with The Daily Dish on May 20, where he admitted that he is looking forward to going on vacation to Tennessee with Kristen in the near future, before they take the big leap to move out of California to a different state to put down their roots. Luke admitted that there is “hopefully a trip to Nashville” in their near future to look at potential places to live in the future.
“A trip, we have to start there,” he admitted. “It’s like baby steps, you know. To get her out of LA.”

But even without a move on the table, Luke and Kristen have their hands full with their daughter, who is “already” putting her parents “in trouble.” Luke continued, sharing all of the milestones that Kaia has experienced ahead of her 1st birthday on June 13.
“Kaia’s amazing. We’re both so blessed,” he admitted. “She’s such an amazing, beautiful little girl. She’s about to walk. She’s about to be one. She is just the happy coos and her fake cries, I don’t know. She’s really good at manipulating Kristen already; we’ll put it that way. She has good fake cries. You can tell. She’ll be crying. and then she’ll kind of look to see if she’s getting a response, and then continue her fake cry.”

Kristen Doute opens up about sharing her relationship with Luke Broderick on The Valley Season 3
Both Kristen and Luke have been super open about their relationship struggles after welcoming Kaia during The Valley Season 3. But, in an interview with The Daily Dish earlier this season, Kristen admitted that she doesn’t want viewers to look at their relationship differently because of their on-screen tiffs.
“Luke and I are clearly having issues with intimacy and figuring out being new parents, but I feel very protective over him when I watch it back because it’s something we were both going through,” she explained. “Luke could never, ever understand what it was like to be me as a new mom, but I, in turn, could never understand what it’s like to be a first-time dad. So I really hope people take it easy on him and give him some grace. Yeah, it’s really hard.”
