After exes Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke reunited to create a viral social media ad amidst the drama of Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship reveal, Amanda took issue with their decision to capitalize on the drama during the Summer House Season 10 Reunion Part 2.
“I would have never done that to them during their break-up,” Amanda shared during the June 2 episode. “And it did hurt a little bit.”
Lindsay explained the background of the video, which she and Carl posted on Instagram on April 4. “It happened very quickly. Kyle [Cooke] did a very long ‘man on the street’ interview,” she began.
Producers played part of Kyle’s interview during the reunion, which included updates on how the Summer House cast was handling the news. “I mean, Carl’s a mess,” Kyle revealed at the time.
Lindsay continued at the reunion, “And that was the big takeaway from the interview.” As she defended her and Carl’s actions to Amanda, Lindsay pointed out, “I can’t help what Kyle says on the streets.”
She concluded, “So I was just like, ‘Hey, you know what, like let’s make this light. Let’s bring a light-hearted energy to a very seemingly dark situation.’”
Kyle Cooke and Ciara Miller weigh in on Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s social media ad
During the June 2 reunion, Kyle and Ciara Miller shared their thoughts on Carl and Lindsay “monetizing” the drama with Amanda and West.
“I was like, ‘I don’t really give a s—t,’ to be honest,” Ciara bluntly said, while Kyle admitted he found it humorous. “I think without seeing it, you’re like, ‘Ehhh, kinda cringe.’ And then watching it, I thought it was epic, if I can be honest,” he laughed.
Kyle shared he also felt supported by Carl in the aftermath of Amanda and West’s reveal, and wasn’t bothered by the video. “Carl’s leaving me voicemails in tears, so, I felt the love,” he said.

Lindsay continued to defend the video, pointing out she was also close to the situation. “I was heavily at that time in touch with Ciara and Kyle,” she explained. “Like, every single day. And just trying to be there tremendously as a friend to both of them every single day. So I was in it with them.”
Lindsay emphasized her focus was only on Ciara and Kyle’s feelings, not Amanda and West’s. “As long as they were good—“ she began, and Carl chimed in, “Yeah, in the back of my head, I didn’t want to disrespect Ciara or Kyle after everything they’ve been dealing with.”
Carl Radke reveals where his friendship with Lindsay Hubbard stands
Carl admitted that creating the social media ad with Lindsay was a huge step forward in repairing their friendship.
“It was incredible, honestly. I really believe Lindsay and I have incredible chemistry as friends. I felt a really nice bond between us that I’d been wanting,” he shared during the June 2 reunion episode.
Andy pointed out Lindsay had to “unblock Carl” to post the ad, and asked where they stand now. “He’s still unblocked,” Lindsay joked. “And I’ll follow him.”
Andy also noted that Lindsay attending Carl’s Soft Bar opening was another turning point in their relationship during Summer House Season 10.
“Did you feel like you had something to prove to her?” he asked Carl, who responded yes. “I think deep down. I know she always—like even before we dated—Lindsay was always I think a champion of wanting me to do well in my career and be happy,” he explained.

He continued, “Her walking in the door that day like meant the world to me.” To Lindsay, he shared, “I really appreciate you showing up. It was just cool to have you there. I care about you. And I always will. And having her show up for something like that, given everything that’s gone on, and my behavior to her, and how things have unfolded, it just shows who Lindsay is and her character.”
