Taylor Ann Green and Gaston Rojas have officially split after “almost three years” of dating. The Southern Charm alum and Gaston started dating in 2023, following her breakup from Shep Rose, and now Taylor is opening up about her and Gaston’s split.
Taylor appeared on The Viall Files on June 2, where she opened up about the end of their relationship. “My heart is still beating. I’m still alive and well. And honestly, I feel a sense of relief,” she admitted during the episode. “I feel very at peace and good with my decision of walking away.”
Taylor said on the podcast that she believed he had allegedly cheated on her before they split (she further noted that he has denied the accusation). “This was all a very big shock, just because our relationship was so focused around loyalty, and it feels like anytime my ex had the chance to bring up loyalty, respect, trust, honesty, that was what he drilled into our relationship,” she continued, noting that she had “ignored the red flags” in their relationship.

Taylor admitted that she and Gaston ended up splitting due to “fundamental differences.” “That was my decision,” she said of the breakup. “We had gotten into a silly argument, and I said, ‘I don’t like the way you speak to me. I don’t feel like you speak to me the way you should speak to someone that you love. And I don’t know if I can do this anymore,'” she said.
“So I walked away and got all my stuff out of the house. And I was just like, ‘Be strong in this. You can’t go back. You can’t go back.’ But I was pretty torn,” she added, noting that she feels “very confident” with her decision to break up with him.

Taylor had spoken with The Daily Dish in 2023, where she confirmed that she was seeing Gaston, a former college baseball player who lived with Southern Hospitality cast member, TJ Dinch. While Taylor admitted that she was “happy and confident” in her relationship at the time, she further revealed what she was looking for in her partner.
“I’m looking for a best friend — somebody to do life with, laugh, have a good time [with], and don’t take life too seriously,” she explained about potential boyfriends. “Each day should be just a gift. That’s what I wanted, and just share it with somebody.”
