Taylor Ann Green confirmed that she has talked to Shep Rose following her recent breakup with Gaston Rojas. The Southern Charm alum dated Shep from 2020 until their breakup in 2022, and they remain on good terms today.
Taylor appeared on The Viall Files on June 2, where she revealed that she has spoken to Shep. But clarified that they’re not seeing each other romantically. “I have, and I have seen the rumors that we’re getting back together or hooking up again or whatever. And that is not true,” she admitted during the episode.
She continued saying that she wouldn’t want to rekindle their romance, adding, “But Shep is a very logical human being, and he’s not the type of person to be like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Let’s get back together.’ He would inevitably say ‘No, that’s not the right thing to do.'”

However, Taylor admitted that she and Shep still care for each other. “He cares about me as a human being, and he cared about me very deeply,” she continued. “And even in my time of kind of throwing him under the bus and giving him a lot of s–t, he’s always been there for me. And he’s just had a very big heart for myself, for me, and my family, which is big for me. That’s important. Especially when it comes to my family.”
“So I did reach out to him after the breakup,” she added. “And he was, I mean, he was kind of beside himself, honestly. He was like, ‘I cannot believe you are sitting here in front of me. I cannot believe you reached out. I care about you. I think about you all the time. I think about your brother. There’s so many times I want to reach out to you. But I feel like I just couldn’t because your ex was holding you hostage,’ which he was to a certain extent.”

Shep had previously spoken on this during a December appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, when Taylor was still dating Gaston at the time. During the show, Andy Cohen asked Shep if he still talks to Taylor today. “No,” he said. “I don’t think her boyfriend would like that very much.”

Taylor confirmed on the podcast that she and Gaston had split after almost “three years” of dating. The activewear entrepreneur said on the podcast that she believed her ex had cheated on her before their split, in spite of his denying the allegations.
“I feel very at peace and good with my decision of walking away,” she said. “This was all a very big shock, just because our relationship was so focused around loyalty, and it feels like anytime my ex had the chance to bring up loyalty, respect, trust, honesty, that was what he drilled into our relationship.”

Taylor Ann Green announced her exit from Southern Charm in April 2025 following Season 10 of the Bravo Show. “Hi everyone! A bittersweet announcement, but after a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from Southern Charm next year. These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life,” she wrote in a statement at the time. “I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, Bravo family, and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today.
