Dorit Kemsley is revealing how her ex-husband, Â Paul “PK” Kemsley, reacted to her new memoir, Unburdened. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member released her debut book on June 2, but admitted that she has not heard too much feedback about it from her cast members or her ex.
Dorit appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, June 3, where she admitted that she does not know if her ex has read her memoir amid their ongoing divorce. “You know, it was just released yesterday. He did not get an advanced copy,” she admitted during the WWHL After Show. Â “First of all, it was under embargo, so I couldn’t even do that… However, I don’t know. I have yet to see.”
She further revealed how he can get a copy of the book, which offers “an intimate look at the woman behind the camera.” “He has to buy it,” she said with a laugh.

Dorit also shared on WWHL which of the RHOBH cast members have supported her through the memoir’s release. She admitted that her BFF, Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, has been the most supportive of her latest career move. “Just Boz,” she told Andy Cohen, when he asked who congratulated her on the release.
She further revealed that Sutton Stracke’s old assistant, Avi Gabay, showed up to one of her book signings. However, they didn’t get to chat about why he is no longer working for Sutton. “He surprised me. It was really, really sweet,” Dorit admitted. “I haven’t seen or spoken to Avi, obviously. So I didn’t get the scoop. However, inquiring minds want to know.”

Dorit opened up about several topics in her book, including her 2021 home invasion, which happened while she was at home with her two young children. Andy applauded her for her honesty about the situation and for opening up about how “intense” it was.
“Part of the reason why I wanted to write this memoir, I’ve been on television for nine years. Reality television captures moments, but life is so much bigger than moments,” she explained. “And it felt like a lot of the moments on television, there’s a lot more context. There’s more detail. And this was an opportunity for me to tell it on my own terms.”
