Southern Charm‘s Madison LeCroy has a lot of love for the special people in her life. And, ICYMI, Madison recently posted a photo with her and her longtime friend, Whitney Sudler-Smith. Their meet-up comes on the heels of Madison’s hangout with Whitney’s mom, Patricia Altschul, and their friends, Craig Conover and Shep Rose, so you can say her social calendar has been filled.
In the photo posted to her Instagram Stories back in May, Madison can be seen wearing a white dress with black polkadots on it, while she holds a glass in her hand. She smiles down at Whitney, who was sitting down, holding a glass, and sticking his tongue out at his friend.

Late last year, Whtiney reflected on his bonds with the Charleston crew, which viewers have gotten an inside look at for over a decade now. “It’s incredible,” Whitney told People at the time. “We’ve all become a tight-knit, close community of good friends. We hang out off-camera, and we are good friends, and I think it’s a testament to the strength and integrity of the show.”
Whitney has also been candid about the early days of Southern Charm — and how his friendships inspired him to start the show. “I said, ‘Hey, let’s get a crew down here,’” he recalled to BravoTV.com. “‘There’s something here — a TV show or a documentary or whatever.’ That was the germination of Southern Charm.”

Patricia Altschul shares a new look at life with her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith
Of course, Patricia and Whitney always make time for one another, and their extended circle of friends from the Southern Charm group. Patricia recently shared a video of herself with Whitney, Shep, and Austen Kroll sitting down for a meal together. It’s been a busy time for Whitney’s social calendar, and Patricia hasn’t missed a beat to share what he’s been up to — which includes more outings with Austen, Madison, and Patricia. She also shared a photo of Whitney and Shep hanging out with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Sutton Stracke, taken “at the Masters.”

When he isn’t making time for his pals and his mom, his Instagram bio offers up some info on what else keeps him busy these days. “I write, make movies and TV shows, and can shred Metal on guitar. I also have four dogs,” the bio reads.
At BravoCon 2025, Whitney shed light on his dating life at the time. He appeared on the It’s All About to Go South panel, and he revealed that he has been having “an on-and-off thing with a girl in Europe” and was excited about their future at the time, “At some point, might tie the knot,” he said. “Maybe not, I don’t know. We’ll see how it goes.” He further noted, “But it’s a work in progress.”
