Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky recently reunited amid their separation for their youngest daughter, Portia Umansky. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom of four and her estranged husband are celebrating Portia ahead of her high school graduation, and they could not be any happier about this.
Kyle took to her Instagram on June 7, where she revealed that she, Mauricio, and their daughters all gathered together for a pre-graduation celebration at Portia’s high school, before she gets her diploma. In the photo, Kyle and Mauricio can be seen standing on either side of Portia as they were surrounded by Sophia Umansky; Alexia Umansky, her husband, Jake Zingerman; and Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie. The family of seven looked so happy to be together, posing in front of a mural, while Portia looked more than ready to attend the University of Colorado Boulder in the fall. Â “Today we had [Portia]’s Baccalaureate at school. A beautiful pre-graduation ceremony,” she wrote over the photo. “I can’t believe my baby is graduating on Tuesday!”
She also posted a close-up photo of Portia’s face, who looked so happy to be celebrating her major accomplishment. “Class of 2026,” she wrote over the photo.

Portia will be heading to Colorado in the fall, and Kyle is so proud of her. She took to her Instagram Story in May. where she posted a throwback photo of Portia and announced that she will be studying Communications at the University of Colorado Boulder. “Congratulations [Portia]!!!! Love you so much and so proud of you,” she wrote over the photo.
Kyle had opened up about Portia’s college journey during an Amazon Live stream on March 17, where she admitted that Portia’s move is going to be “rough” on her and their family. “I just want her to be happy,” she said. “All of my daughters went so far away. I’d love a two-hour flight to see her because it’s gonna be rough on all of us.”

During Part 2 of the RHOBH Season 15 reunion, Kyle admitted that she is hesitant to file for divorce from Mauricio because of their daughters. She explained that she was worried about their family dynamic changing and the larger impact that it would have on all of them. “It would change,” she stated. “And it would be scary if it changed for me.”
Kyle also reflected on what went wrong with their marriage, noting that “money and fame” changed things for them. She offered a theory on what would have happened if they left LA earlier in their marriage. “We would move to Vail, and [Mauricio] could be a ski instructor, and I could be home with the kids,” she explained. “I do believe that if that had happened, we would still be together.”
