McBee Dynasty Season 3 Cast Talks New Drama, Relationships: EXCLUSIVE

Steven Jr. echoed that sentiment while hinting at just how emotional — and chaotic — things become. “Season 3 turned it up a notch,” he teased, calling it “a wild ride of highs and lows.”

That pressure extends beyond family dynamics, too. “The number one source of tension has been keeping all of our banks’ confidence instilled in us,” Steven Jr. explained, “in knowing that we’re more than capable of not only running these businesses, but putting them in a better position than they’ve ever been in by far.”

For Gaylna, Season 3 also marks a personal turning point. “I’m actually really excited about this season,” the McBee Farm & Cattle Co. CFO (who is also Steve Sr.’s ex-girlfriend) said. “As everybody knows, the first two seasons were very, very dramatic. I went through quite a bit.”  This time around, she explained, viewers will see her “in a completely different light: independent, just putting all these bad experiences behind me, growing from all the pain that I went through in the first two seasons.”

Not everyone came away from the past year feeling as positive. “It was a really hard time for me,” Steve Sr.’s girlfriend, Masha, admitted. “It was a very hard time for everybody, of course… I did not get any support from the family, the way I was thinking that it would be.”

Longtime employee and “den mother” Tessa Loller believes fans will see an entirely new side of the family. “You will have to grab your tissues for a lot of things,” she said. “Some positive, some may be surprising, but I think it’s gonna be one of our best seasons yet.”

Still, all that drama is balanced with a healthy dose of levity. “I apologize to my family in advance,” Allie joked of a moment that touches on her “first physical connection” with Steven Jr. “I forgot that I was on camera … I’m gonna tell his mom to close her ears too… We probably could have left out details, but no take-backs when you’re on reality TV.”

Steven McBee Jr.’s new relationship with Allie Eklund is a major focus on Season 3

One of the biggest new chapters unfolding in Season 3 is Steven Jr.’s relationship with Allie, which began on Instagram.

“I could tell from her social media that she had some sort of farm girl or country girl side to her,” Steven Jr. recalled. “I’d seen some photos of her on a ranch with some baby animals… I felt like she would be a good fit for the farm.”

Added Allie, “From the beginning, we aligned on so many things … not just on chemistry but on morals, characters, and values, and what we really wanted in life.”

Though where things stand between the two today remains to be seen, Season 3 will give viewers a front-row seat to how it all unfolds. “You get to see our relationship play out in real time,” Steven Jr. shared. “There is no fabrication. There is no rewinding the clock.”

Where the McBee Dynasty cast dynamics stand heading into Season 3

Tensions are higher than ever between Galyna and Masha

If there’s one relationship within the McBee orbit that remains deeply fractured heading into Season 3, it’s the ongoing tension between Galyna and Masha, stemming from Galyna’s lingering feelings for Steve Sr.

“Galyna is still absolutely in love with my dad, will not let it go, and hates Masha passionately,” Steven Jr. declared bluntly. “They can’t be around each other in person.”

Kristi has tried to be a support system. “It’s always gonna be a struggle with Galyna, and I’ve tried to get her to let it go, and I hope Galyna can find somebody special in her life. I think that would help her to move on,” Kristi said. “She’s not evil… She’s a very emotional, passionate person, and she acts on her emotions, and they’re pretty out there.”

For her part, Galyna had little interest in revisiting the dynamic. “I’m gonna be very short,” she said. “I don’t compete ever, and I definitely do not compete with somebody who is not a competition. So I mean, congratulations.”

Masha, meanwhile, expressed hope that everyone can eventually move forward. “I just hope [Galyna is] going to move on and she can be happy with herself,” she said. “She should be feeling better getting out of this relationship that she was so not happy in.”

Power struggles between the McBee brothers continue

The pressure of running the McBee businesses together has also intensified tensions between the brothers. “Working on a family farm with your family exposes personal conflicts faster,” Cole explained. “You’re dealing with a lot of things that are going wrong a lot. You say what you are thinking most of the time to whoever you’re working with.”

Disagreements over leadership remain a recurring issue. “My brothers are always questioning my focus and where my head is,” Steven Jr. said. “Cole and I, we definitely are butting heads on some decisions and who’s gonna be the one to make them.”

Still, Brayden sees value in the differing views. “I feel like I’m the smartest, and it motivates me,” he joked. “No offense to my brothers, but I think being the youngest kind of gives me a perspective that I got from each of them, so I can kind of get the whole view on things.”

How Steven’s girlfriend, Allie, integrates with Alli and Kacie

Strained dynamics have surrounded Steven Jr.’s past relationships, often creating friction within the McBee family and Jesse and Cole’s significant others, Alli and Kacie, respectively. This time around, however, Allie is a noticeably stabilizing presence.

“I really like Allie,” Kacie shared. “She came into the family at such a negative time, and she was so positive about everything.” More than that, Kacie believes the timing of the relationship was kismet. “Steven [Jr.] really needed her,” she added. “I think he found exactly the person that he was looking for, which is really nice to see.”

Allie felt right at home, too. “I was very excited about how well we mesh together,” she said of the other McBee spouses. “We’ll text on the side, plan outfits together, and see what we’re packing. We talk on the phone individually.”

That closeness echoes the values she was raised with. “Steven and I both have family relationships and dynamics that are super tight-knit,” Allie shared. “I did get added to the family group chat, and he got added to mine. So it’s just been nice connecting and getting to know everyone.”

The cast shares updates on Steve McBee Sr. amid his incarceration and how they stay in touch

“We visit my dad about twice a month, and then I am able to stay connected with him over emailing two or three times a week,” Brayden shared, describing the rhythm the family has now settled into.

Steven Jr. echoed that ongoing connection. “We go up there and see him every other weekend, and it’s been so good to be able to talk to him,” he said. “He’s supporting us, and he’s proud of us and what we’re doing — and likewise, we support him. We’re ready to see him and get him home.”

Cole also noted his father’s outlook as a stabilizing force during a turbulent time. “He’s a very optimistic person, and he stays positive through everything,” he said. “He’s just grinding through, and he’ll be back shortly.”

“The mentality we had going into the sentence was just [that] no matter what ends up happening, at the end of the day, we’ll be okay,” Jesse agreed.

Support from the rest of the group has helped, too. “Everyone has come together, and it really does take a village, and it has taken all of us to get through this,” Kacie explained.

As for Steve Sr.’s phone calls, they’re mostly reserved for one person. “He gets a certain number of phone calls for a month,” Jesse said, noting that he and his brothers don’t get many of those calls. “He talks to my mom,” he said, and Masha “probably wouldn’t be too happy if she found out.”

To ex-wife Kristi, though, the communication makes sense. “We’re friends, you know? I mean, we’ve gotten through. It’s been five years since our divorce, so time heals a lot of wounds, and it has. He’s also been humbled with everything going on — that’s helped, too,” she explained. “He needed us, and we were there.”

Even from a distance, Steve Sr.’s focus remains on the family: “He does ask about all the boys and wants me to make sure they know he’s okay,” Kristi continued. “He’s a very positive, optimistic person, and that’s helped all of us deal with it.”

Masha, too, described a light dynamic when she connects with Steve Sr. “It’s actually very cheerful, very easy. It’s like nothing’s happening. He’s really very strong, and yes, everything’s going great,” she said. However, when asked about the future, she kept things measured: “To be honest, I don’t even have time to even think about things like that because I’m pretty busy with my life.”

How the McBee brothers and employees are banding together to save the business

As the family continues navigating a period of transition and heightened scrutiny, the future of the McBee family business takes center stage on Season 3.

“Given the black cloud and negative reputation around us, with the current headlines and media surrounding my dad’s situation, the farm and ranch, it’s really been a struggle to keep the confidence across the team and across all of our banks that we work with,” Steven Jr. explained. “We’re just making sure that they still believe in us and know that even though my dad’s not here, we’re just fine. We’re more than capable of handling these businesses and more than that, we’re gonna have them in the best place they’ve ever been.”

Galyna noted how everyone had to adapt in real time. “Steve [Sr.] was quite obviously the most important person in the business, and him going away obviously created a massive shift,” she said. “We all had to take on different responsibilities.”

The adjustment has required difficult conversations, but ultimately strengthened their resolve. “I am really grateful that all of us were able to come together through tough conversations, being adults, and keep carrying on the family legacy and family traditions and family business, and continue growing it and working all together,” Galyna added.

On the operational side, farmhand Jake Denton said, “It’s been pretty smooth sailing, especially given the circumstances that we’re in. I think there [are] a lot of people obviously rooting against us, and I think that helps Steven [Jr.]. He’s very smart, he’s business-minded… He’s kind of been doing this even when his dad was around.”

Still, Jake noted that leadership dynamics remain a point of friction. “In the decision-making, Steven [Jr.]’s kind of the main guy, so when he makes a decision, sometimes he’s not gonna ask everybody else or ask some of the brothers,” he explained. “So that’s still something we need to work on… Let’s not make this a solo mission here.”

That sentiment echoed across the siblings. “The biggest conflict that we disagree on is trying to figure out the direction of the businesses with our dad being gone and who’s technically in charge of what,” Cole explained.

For his part, however, Brayden is happy to leave the reins in someone else’s hands. “I like working. I’ve never wanted to take over the businesses. I’ve never cared to get to the top of the leaderboard within the businesses and stuff. I’m good where I’m at. I like being a helping hand,” he said. “Since my dad’s left… Steven [Jr.]’s been doing a great job and is able to hold up with all that stress real well.” Still, Brayden noted, “I do think it’s been very much a group effort with all my brothers and everything to keep things chugging while my dad’s gone.”

Through it all, Steven Jr. emphasized that success now depends on collaboration rather than hierarchy. “It’s been a challenge,” he said. “We’ve had to face the hurdles that we’re going through together as a team and supporting each other as a family. And it’s not on any one person here at the farm. It’s really a decision by committee and all of us working together as a team to try and navigate our way through this crazy situation.”
