Nathan Gallagher Issues Joe Bradley Warning About Gael Cameron

Of all the issues that Nathan Gallagher has already had with Joe Bradley on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11, he really drew the line when he overheard the deckhand mention Gael Cameron’s name during Episode 2.

Between charters, Gael had come aboard M/Y Akira One to introduce her and Nathan’s son, Kayden, to Captain Sandy Yawn and the crew. While enjoying dinner with the team on land afterward, Joe unpacked how the “crazy” experience of seeing Nathan and Gael with their baby had made “the little bit of beef” between them go “out the window.” The only part Nathan seemed to hear, however, was when Joe was explaining to new stew Kat Johnston that he and Gael “don’t really get along.”

When the two men ended up in the restroom at the same time, Nathan told Joe that he was “a bit pissed off” at him. “I heard you mention Gael’s name and said you and her don’t get along,” Nathan said before issuing Joe a stern warning. “I’m f–kin’ pissed. I’m pissed. If I hear it one more time, we’re gonna fall out big time.”

Though Joe attempted to lay out his “defense,” insisting that he hadn’t said anything negative about Gael, Nathan had no interest in hearing what he had to say. “I don’t want an explanation, Joe,” he shot back. “I don’t want you to explain anything to me. If you want to badmouth her, badmouth her to me.”

Nevertheless, Joe continued trying to clarify what Nathan had overheard, but the bosun kept shutting him down, demanding that he keep Gael’s name out of his “f–king mouth” altogether. Nathan added, “Gael’s the best f–kin’ person I’ve ever met in my life. And if you f–kin’ talk around the table, I don’t want to f–kin’ hear it.”

Joe Bradley and Gael Cameron’s issues on Below Deck Med Season 9, explained

Earlier, Joe had been caught off guard when he spotted Gael aboard the vessel with baby Kayden soon after the first charter guests of the season had departed. “F–kin hell,” he declared in a confessional. “I wasn’t expecting to see Gael today. Me and Gael haven’t talked in over a year. We’ve got our issues.”

That’s when a clip from Below Deck Med Season 9 rolled, offering some brief insight into Joe and Gael’s past issues. After he referred to Gael as a “princess” she clapped back, calling Joe a “prick.”

Personality clashes aside, Gael had also taken issue with Joe’s handling of a love triangle involving fellow crew members Elena “Ellie” Dubaich and Bri Muller that season. “He is choosing what he wants when he wants it, without considering how it affects the girls,” Gael explained at the time. “It’s just not nice anymore, so I’m losing respect for Joe, in that sense.”

Where Nathan Gallagher, Gael Cameron, and Joe Bradley stood heading into Below Deck Med Season 11

Fast-forward to Season 10, and Joe was embroiled in another pair of messy boatmances, this time with Victoria “V” SanJuan and Kizzi Kitchener. Gael had got a firsthand look at the drama when she temporarily filled in for V as a deckhand and had similar feelings about Joe’s behavior.

After Season 10 wrapped, Joe gave BravoTV.com an exclusive update, revealing that he and Gael were still “not friends” anymore, especially after their feud spilled over onto social media. Even so, Joe elaborated, “Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to make amends with the girl. I would love to throw any animosity or any melodrama in a bin and start from a fresh page, because there’s more important things in life, like the baby.”

Nathan, meanwhile, was also similarly disgusted by Joe’s previous treatment of V and Kizzi. As the bosun explained during the Season 11 premiere, “Coming to the end of last season, the way he was treating women was f–ked. I haven’t talked to him since. I was like, ‘Do I really want to be in this person’s company anymore?’ And I don’t.”

As the two continue to navigate their friendship being on the rocks, get even more details on Nathan and Joe’s feud at the beginning of Below Deck Med Season 11.
