Steven McBee Jr. & Allie Break Fourth Wall on Relationship

Amid mounting stress in The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys‘ Season 3 premiere, Steven McBee Jr. decided to fly out his new “friend” Allie Eklund to visit Gallatin, Mo., for the first time. As the two drove from the airport back to Steven’s house, Allie broke the fourth wall while they were discussing their budding relationship.

At the time, Steven Jr. was curious to know if Allie was “nervous” about seeing his home and meeting the McBee family. “Nervous is not the right word,” she replied from the passenger seat of his pickup truck. “It’s unfamiliar, but there’s growth that comes with that.”

Steven then noted that the whole idea of her flying in — just more than 24 hours after his father, Steve McBee Sr., was sentenced to serve time in federal prison on a crop insurance fraud charge — was “a little bit spontaneous.” In a fourth-wall-breaking moment, Allie responded, “Everything’s spontaneous. It’s just usually not on film.”

How Steven McBee Jr.’s relationship with Allie Eklund began

In a confessional, Steven sarcastically revealed the “shocker” that he’d actually met Allie through Instagram. By his account, he’d “slid in her DMs multiple times,” but received “very few responses.” Finally, he’d gotten “a date locked in,” but “then she canceled last-minute,” he recounted.

Allie, in a separate producer interview, shared some of Steven’s early DMs. “His first message was, ‘You are gorgeous, Miss. You’re a Nashville gal, aren’t you?'” she read from her phone. “Didn’t respond.” After more scrolling Allie made another discovery, exclaiming, “Oh my gosh, I tried to set him up with my sister!”

Once they finally did get together IRL, it was love at first sight, at least as far as Steven was concerned. “Honestly, the actual first date we went on, I’ve never left the date feeling like, ‘OK, this could be someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with,'” he gushed.

That’s why it came as little surprise that Steven was already looking forward to their future together. “Leading up to my dad’s sentencing, I had the mindset of, ‘My dad’s sentence is also going to be my sentence,'” he explained. “But I’m gonna start focusing more on my personal life and wanting to build my own family. Having Allie up here to the farm is the start of that.”

Prior to her visit, however, Allie and Steven hadn’t even kissed, let alone gotten more physical. “And I’m flying to Missouri for this man,” she joked. “We have such a strong emotional connection. There’s no way we’ll have both. Do you know how rare it is to get both?”

When a producer asked Steven why they hadn’t kissed yet, he weighed in, “Honestly, the first couple dates with Allie, we talked so well. But candidly, I thought she had friend-zoned me. She gave me a side hug. I had to drop her off early.”

After touring Steven’s home — which little brother Brayden McBee and farmhand Jake Denton had adorned with toilet paper and other racy decor — the two did eventually share their first kiss on his back deck, however.

Allie’s verdict on their lip-lock? “I can feel that he’s trying to go in for it a bit, and my body language is kind of pulling back naturally,” she recalled to a producer. “I’m a sloppy kisser. I love just a fat, wet one, right? … Do you not use tongue? Put your tongue in my mouth!”

When Steven spotted a pair of handcuffs and other toys on his bed, courtesy of Brayden and Jake, he underscored the fact that “Allie’s family is very conservative.” Separately, the model and content creator added, “I see the handcuffs. My dad is going to kill me.”
