Details on Georgia McCann and Omar Zaki’s breakup

ICYMI: Throughout the course of the Next Gen NYC Season 1 finale, Georgia and Omar went from officially making their relationship exclusive to revealing that they’d broken up. In what she described as a “shocking turn of events,” Georgia moved out of Omar’s apartment and temporarily became Charlie’s roommates.

Their unexpected split occurred after a “fight” the two had while vacationing in Singapore over the Christmas holiday. Before they’d even returned to New York, Omar already “had his assistant pack up [her] belongings” and deliver them outside Charlie’s door, according to Georgia.

“The breakup with Omar was logistically rough because we were living together and the end was quite messy,” Georgia shared in an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider at the time. “I’m doing well now and focusing on my dream life and not [living] vicariously through someone else.”

Further complicating matters was the fact that Omar, who runs a crypto startup company, was also Georgia’s “business partner” and planned to invest in the party planner’s bowling alley-themed “Club Club,” in addition to helping her secure additional funding for the since-scrapped venture.

“There was some drama with that once the breakup with Omar happened,” Georgia added in her interview. “It’s a long story. I have the renders that are solely based on my creative direction and club ethos that look fabulous. The concept was based on my experience!”

What to expect from Georgia McCann on Next Gen NYC Season 2

On Season 2 of Next Gen NYC, however, Georgia is ready for her next chapter in the Big Apple.

According to her official bio, “After a transformative year marked by personal challenges, Georgia returns to New York with a renewed sense of purpose. Focused on building a more stable future, she shifts her energy away from party planning to launch a cleaning brand, but recent betrayals within the friend group have made some of her relationships messy.”
