Cameras were rolling to capture Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy’s breakup in real time on Next Gen NYC.
In the first look at the Next Gen NYC Season 2 premiere (airing Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and streaming next day on Peacock) Ariana tearfully reveals to castmates Emira D’Spain and Gia Giudice, “I broke up with Hudson, so I’m moving out in like a couple of days. This is my first time on my own.”
From there, the action rewinds to 10 days earlier, giving viewers a sneak peek at exactly what happened between Ariana and Hudson as their relationship ended. As The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter puts it to Hudson, “The question is: Is this still good for me? And it’s not. I’m really sorry.”

Hudson, for his part, gets up from his chair to console Ariana and says that he’s sorry, too. When she adds, “I really wanted it to work,” he optimistically replies. “And I think one day it will.”
In a confessional, Ariana opens up about her and Hudson’s split to a producer. “We were together for like 10 years on and off, but, like, I’ve never gone through a breakup like this,” she says. “Hudson is my best friend, and that was why it was so hard to walk away.”
Why Ariana Biermann documented her and Hudson McLeroy’s split on social media
Because Ariana and Hudson were living together at the time, she had to quickly find a new apartment and decided to turn her move into a business opportunity.
“I did a deal to film the whole process,” Ariana tells a producer while documenting her “very bittersweet” move for social media. “Being an influencer, it’s not your average 9 to 5. No matter how my day is going, no matter if I feel like s–t, no matter what’s going on, I’ve gotta do something, because that’s my way of income.”

Sharing her solo move in such a publicly way naturally invited “speculation” from fans, however. So, Ariana and Hudson released a joint breakup statement in October 2025.Â
“Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the announcement read. “While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s OK. Love you all.”
Ariana Biermann shares and update on her clothing line with Hudson McLeroy
Prior to revealing their breakup in the clip at the top of this post, Ariana also shares an update that the clothing line she and Hudson had been working to launch during Season 1 is also done.
“I had this big idea of having this clothing line,” Ariana reminds viewers, before referencing castmate Ava Dash’s previous criticism of her fashion choices. “Ava definitely really hurt my feelings with her comment. However, it was a wake-up that, ‘F–k, maybe you were right.’ I don’t have the best style, I know.”
She continues, “But let’s not give her the satisfaction in her thinking I canceled my whole line off of her. Hudson and I facing all these problems over the last year, I can’t imagine us going into business together.”
What else to expect from Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy on Next Gen NYC Season 2
