Andy Cohen Pays Tribute to Late WWHL Producer Kyra Samson

Andy Cohen paid tribute to a member of the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen family, Kyra Samson, who passed away this month after a battle with brain cancer. Andy shared an emotional message during WWHL, in which he reflected on Kyra’s impact and her work with the show as a production manager.

“Before we go tonight, I have some devastating news to share from our Watch What Happens Live family, and, this is hard for me to get through, but, on Tuesday night, our beloved former production manager, Kyra Samson passed away, from brain cancer. She was only 28,” he said on the June 25 episode of WWHL.

He went on to honor her legacy, working on the WWHL team. He said, “During her four wonderful years with us, Kyra was known for her sweet smile and gentle demeanor, but she could also be a small but mighty enforcer. To see Kyra on a bullhorn controlling massive crowds at BravoCon was truly a sight to behold. She’s gonna be terribly missed by all of us here and no doubt by everyone who was lucky enough to know her”

Andy continued, “I wanna join, I hope you’ll join us in honoring her legacy, by donating to the Kyra Fund, which will help provide urgently needed research for people with glioblastomas and hopefully help future Kyra’s out there.”

Andy concluded the tribute by sharing, “We’re sending all of our prayers and love to her family and our friends. So we love you, Kyra.”
