Shannon Storms Beador is addressing speculation about her love life today. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has been open about how she’s interested in dating now that all three of her daughters are out of the house, but rest assured, she is not engaged to anyone at the moment.

Shannon took to her Instagram Story in June 2026, where she reposted a “shocking news” story claiming that Shannon was engaged to a “new boyfriend” following “months” of dating. She also reposted the accompanying photo of her sitting next to the mystery man while she flashed her ring finger for the camera.
But Shannon quickly shut those rumors down, admitting that she had no idea who this mystery man was featured in the post. “Can’t wait to meet him,” she wrote over the photo, along with a winking face emoji with a tongue sticking out.

Shannon is not dating anyone and is single after finding a connection on Bravo’s Love Hotel that didn’t work out. She spoke with Bravo Insider in August 2025, where she admitted that at that time, she was “not excited about dating” and her daughters hoped that she can find someone who will make her the priority.Â

She admitted to Bravo Insider last year that she knows what she will do differently in her next relationship now that she’s single. “I see, in a perfect relationship, maintaining some independence for myself,” she said. “And that’s something that I’ve learned over the relationships that didn’t work.”
“I still have to have a piece of me that’s still me…I’ve learned that I can be OK [single],” she added. “I can be happy, and I can have a full life. I can honestly say I’ve never been happier in my life.”

Shannon Storms Beador reflects on how much she’s changed since her first marriage
Shannon has also changed a lot since her first marriage. She admitted to Bravo Insider that she has worked on herself in the years following her divorce. “You know, what I am proud of — and I will have to continue to work on it for the rest of my life — is that I look back at myself when I was in my marriage, and I was a much more reactive person,” she explained. “But I can look at myself today, and yes, I still react — and there’s times where I blow up, but I think everybody does. And I learn from it.”
She noted, “I just feel like I’m a calmer person, and it’s OK, and I don’t have to stress about the small stuff, you know?”
