Gavin spoke up during In The City Season 1, Episode 7, when he pointed out the differences between Kyle Cooke and  Amanda Batula amid their separation at Yvonne Najor and Nick Barber’s wedding dinner. “I don’t speak for Kyle, I speak for myself,” he said. “I just want them aligned as they separate to date.”
Kyle accused Gavin of trying to “instigate” things between him and Amanda, resulting in most of the cast members yelling at each other from across the dinner table. “F–k you, Gavin,” Kyle said, before Gavin continued trying to meddle between them. “All that matters is if they’re still in love. Amanda, are you still in love? Kyle, are you still in love?” Gavin asked them.

A quintessential New York bachelor, he thrives in the party scene and avoids settling down despite an on-and-off-again relationship. As his best friend Kenny [Martin] grows more serious about love, cracks in their bromance are inevitable.”
What does Gavin Moseley do for work?
Gavin is the co-founder of The Garrett Group, an NYC-based hospitality group founded in 2014, which owns many restaurants and bars. This includes the NYC speakeasy The Garrett, and three locations of Rocco’s Sports and Recreation along the east coast.Â
“I went to the Cornell Hotel School. I always knew what I wanted to do, and I opened up my first restaurant bar in 2014,” he told Bravo Insider. “And now we have five of them in Boston, New York, and South Florida.”

Where is Gavin Moseley from?
Gavin appeared on That One Thing with… podcast in June 2024 where he opened up about his background. “I’m from Boston born and raised, but kind of in New York,” he said during the episode. “I’m a New Yorker kind of adult now, but we just opened a bar in Boston, which I’m excited about going back to my roots.”
“But African-American, only child, no siblings,” he added. “I think this all helped in what I’m doing now, to be honest, because I’m comfortable in being alone, but I have so many friends. I was that guy where my friends’ parents were kicking me out because it was like, ‘You gotta go home.'”
What happened with Gavin Moseley on In The City Season 1?
In addition to talking about Kyle and Amanda’s relationship, Gavin has also been outspoken about Kenny’s relationship with his girlfriend, Whitney Fransway. Gavin and Kenny are very close. “Kenny and I are like high school girls,” Gavin explained in a confessional during In The City Season 1, Episode 6. “We share each other’s clothing and stuff.”
But, Gavin’s closeness to Kenny allowed for them to pick on each other about their relationships. “Gavin can’t string together a f—ing relationship for more than three months and he wants to sabotage every real relationship,” Kenny said during a boy’s outing in the episode. “I think you thrive on toxicity. And we don’t have that in our relationship, so you think something’s missing.”
“I love Kenny’s relationship, man,” Gavin replied sarcastically.
