CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (TCN) — A 20-year-old man has been charged with domestic battery by strangulation and two counts of domestic violence battery after police allege he poured a bag of human waste and hot sauce on his ex-girlfriend.
WKRC reports that on June 2, the victim, whose name has not been released, texted her mother and alleged, “I love [Daniel Niemiec] but he just hurt me he choked me out and hit me.”
On July 1, the victim broke up with Niemiec, and she and a friend arrived at Niemiec’s apartment to pick up her things, according to the Miami Herald.
Niemiec allegedly came outside with the victim’s belongings and dumped a backpack full of urine, feces, and hot sauce onto her. The victim’s brother contacted law enforcement the following day and the Coral Springs Police reached out to the victim and began an investigation, according to WKRC.
The victim also told police that during sex, Niemiec allegedly hit and slapped her after she repeatedly told him no; during a later interview with authorities, he allegedly claimed he was trying something new and did not hear her say to stop, according to WKRC.
When interviewed by authorities, Niemiec alleged he poured the human waste and hot sauce onto the victim as “payback for cheating.”
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Law & Crime, Niemiec allegedly admitted to strangling the victim on June 30 and said he has anger issues he cannot control.
WKRC reports he was arrested and charged with domestic violence battery and domestic battery by strangulation. Law & Crime reports that Niemiec has since posted $4,000 bond.
