However, as Masha helped Steve Sr. make some final preparations before he reported to prison on the show, their questions appeared to be answered.

The McBee family had some valid reasons to be confused about where Masha and Steve Sr.’s romance stood prior to filming Season 3 (streaming on Peacock), however, as Steven McBee Jr. and Jesse McBee explained during a visit to Bravo HQ last summer. When asked if Steve Sr. and Masha were still together after their intense Season 2 drama, Steven Jr. exclusively shared, “He would say no, but, yes, she’s still up at the farm. We see her car passing. He tries to hide it, and he tries not to tell us whenever she’s over.”
After recounting some of the flimsy excuses their father would use to explain Masha’s visits to his lodge, Jesse, for his part, chimed in, “There’s no point in lying to us.”

When did Masha Petrova and Steven McBee start dating?
Masha and Steve Sr. started dating sometime in 2024. As Masha shared during Season 3, which began filming in October 2025, “[I’ve] been together with Steve for about a year and a half now, since Galyna moved out … I do consider him my boyfriend.”

Are Masha and Steven McBee still together?
Yes. As mentioned, Masha and Steve Sr. were still together while filming Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty in late 2025. More recently, Cole McBee’s fiancée, Kacie Adkison, revealed in an interview with Decider, “She is still with Cole’s dad, from what we know.”
Does Masha visit Steven McBee in prison?
On The McBee Dynasty Season 3, Episode 5, Masha did talk to Steven Jr.’s then-girlfriend Allie Eklund about the rules that Steve Sr. would have to abide by in prison, however. According to Masha, you “can’t send food or nothing,” and “only letters or pictures” are permitted. That’s why she recruited Allie to help her plan a photo shoot for a calendar filled with “classy” images of herself for Steve to enjoy while behind bars.

Is Masha part of the McBee Family?
During her boudoir photo shoot on The McBee Dynasty, Masha told Allie that she would likely not be traveling with Steve when he reported to prison, because he had left the decision up to his ex-wife, Kristi McBee. “I said that I wanted to go, I want to be there,” Masha explained. “The way I was told, Kristi said that, you know, I cannot be in family occasions.”
She added in a confessional, “It’s definitely frustrating. I’m extremely, you know, sad. But we love each other, and I think everybody just needs to accept it or just at least, like, let us be.”
Kristi McBee’s issues with Masha Petrova amid her feud with Galyna Saltkovska, explained
Kristi previously unpacked her issues with Masha in Season 3, Episode 2. As Kristi recapped in a producer interview, “Steve and Galyna were together. Then, Galyna was helping Masha out. They were friends, very good friends. And then [Masha] and Steve got together.”
It was also previously explained on the Bravo series that Galyna’s relationship with Steve Sr. is what “effectively ended” his marriage to Kristi. Despite that fact, Kristi found herself siding with Galyna amid her falling out with Masha. The reason? “As weird as it sounds, I don’t like what [Masha] did to Galyna,” Kristi shared with Kacie and Alli McBee. “Galyna cares about you guys. I know she does.”
In a confessional, Kristi added, “One thing Galyna does, she shows up. But Masha, she doesn’t care about my family. She cares about one thing, and that’s getting Steve.”
When Kristi unexpectedly came face to face with Masha in the episode, she told her directly that, by crashing a professional event, as well as a recent family dinner that she wasn’t invited to, only illustrated that she didn’t “care about [her] boys at all.” As Kristi saw it, Masha’s behavior could have seriously jeopardized her sons’ livelihoods.
Masha, on the other hand, believed the drama was the result of an “extreme amount of miscommunication.” She went on to express her hope “for a better relationship with the family,” though Kristi remained skeptical of their dynamic improving in the future.
Inside Steven McBee Sr.’s dating history
Steve Sr. was married to Kristi for 28 years, and the two share four sons: Steven Jr., Jesse, Cole, and Brayden McBee. During Season 2, Kristi said that she filed for divorce after “finding out there was a lot of infidelity” on Steve’s part, including with Galyna.
After Steve began seriously dating Galyna, whom he eventually made CFO of the family business, he also romanced Brooke Boldizs. Their love triangle played out during Season 1 of the show, and Brooke has made cameo appearances in both subsequent seasons, most recently sitting down with Galyna in an attempt to hash out their issues, during Season 3.
