The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Jeana Keough has been diagnosed with cancer and is feeling the support from her longtime friends Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge. Jeana’s daughter, Kara Keough Bosworth, took to social media on July 19, where she announced that they found cancer in Jeana’s tongue that spread to her lymph nodes.

Kara revealed on GoFundMe that Jeana underwent surgery to remove the cancer on her tongue and lymph nodes, and is now undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy treatments amid her cancer battle. Kara started a GoFundMe to help the Orange County-based real estate agent and a mom of three through her treatments, which was reposted by current RHOC cast members, Vicki and Tamra.
Vicki took to Instagram on Sunday, where she posted a photo of Jeana, alongside a photo of them together, and a photo of them hanging out with their friends, including RHOC alums Lynne Curtin and Lizzie Rovsek. “Please donate if you can and lift her up in healing prayers,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Jeana, you have been there for so many people through your life, now it’s our turn to be there for you!”
Tamra also took to Instagram, posting a photo of her and Jeana hanging out with RHOC alums Quinn Fry and Tammy Knickerbocker. “We love you Momma Jeana,” she wrote. “Keeping you in our prayers every step of the way.”

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host Andy Cohen also showed his support to Jeana over the weekend, taking to the comments of Kara’s Instagram post to extend his love to the RHOC alum and her daughter. “I’m so sorry to hear this Kara,” he wrote. “One of your mom’s many great qualities is her strength and kindness. We are all praying for her.”

Kara Bosworth opens up about mom Jeana Keough’s cancer diagnosis
Kara took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, where she revealed that she had been by Jeana’s side both in the ER and at home, reading in bed with her. “In the ER, working on getting this beauty a G-tube and some fluids ASAP. It’s been an especially tough week for her so thank you for showing her so much love,” Kara, who is mom of four, wrote over a photo of Jeana in her hospital bed. “She cried when I showed her how many of you have donated, sent prayers, and offered advice and help. We’re reading all your encouraging words and my sweet mama is blown away by the kindness and generosity of so many of you.”
She also revealed that Jeana’s dog, Mia, had been by her side, getting her through this difficult time. “Jeana’s baby Mia has been the perfect snuggle bug, doing the most to keep my mama comfortable,” she wrote. “At least one daughter has been here with it through all.”
