Despite some nostalgic tears, Michelle Saniei said she was “super excited” to re-enter the singles scene after signing her divorce settlement with Jesse Lally on The Valley. Luckily for her, she already had a date lined up with a real estate client named Max Amini.

“I’m so happy it’s all done,” Michelle declared in a confessional from Season 3, Episode 17 of The Valley. “I can officially say I am divorced. I am so hopeful and so ready to date somebody.”
During a tiki boat cruise, Michelle updated Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, and Kiana Carroll about her and Jesse’s divorce status, roughly two years after their initial legal filing. “I’m super excited because I’m gonna go on my first date soon,” she revealed, adding that they were planning to meet up when Max was back in town in two weeks.

Who is Max Amini?
Max is a stand-up comedian who was born in Tucson, Arizona, into an Iranian-American family, according to his official website. He is also one of Michelle Saniei’s real estate clients and a potential love interest on The Valley Season 3.
“As a stand-up comedian, Max Amini has made audiences laugh onstage for years, and now he uses his brand of observational comedy to push the envelope on many socially relevant topics of today,” the professional bio for his Wild Truth with Max Amini podcast states. “He is a storyteller and fearless man of action, constantly digging deeper into the human experience to get to the wild truth.”
Max boasts more than 9.8 million Instagram followers, and Jerry Seinfeld has even hailed him as “one of the hottest comedians to watch in the next generation of comedy,” per Deadline.
On The Valley, Michelle described Max as “the best comedian in the world,” adding, “He’s, like, a really famous Persian. He’s so funny.”

How did Michelle Saniei meet Max Amini?
As for how Michelle met Max, the luxury real estate agent further shared with her friends in The Valley‘s July 22 episode, “A couple months ago, my girlfriend referred him as a client, and it’s been so organic and natural. I was, like, very professional, and I never date my clients or whatever. And so, it just, like, kind of happened. He made jokes, and I kind of made jokes. I’m like, who am I?”
Michelle also underscored the fact that they had “very good” banter, before reiterating, “I’m so excited!”
Reacting to the “wonderful” news, Lala gushed, “I couldn’t be happier for you,” while Tom chimed in to say, “This is a moment.”

“He’s a wonderful person, and we just love spending time together,” Michelle said of Dr. Dre in an exclusive June interview with Bravo Insider, roughly two months after she sparked romance rumors with the Grammy-winning rapper and producer. The mom to 6-year-old Isabella Lally also explained that she met Dr. Dre “through a mutual friend” who had no connection to The Valley.
Speculation about the nature of the new couple’s relationship arose when photos of Michelle and Dr. Dre holding hands outside Nobu Malibu on April 25 went viral. At the time, she was as stunned as anybody to see the snapshots hit the web. “I didn’t know that it was happening,” Michelle said. “When everybody saw it is when I saw it. And, you know, I was just living in the moment.”
