The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s supersized Season 17 finale ended with a music event that left several of the ladies feeling out of harmony.
K. Michelle hosted her fellow RHOA castmates — including Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Angela Oakley, Kelli Potter, Pinky Cole, and friend Cynthia Bailey — at a listening party for her forthcoming country album. The event started off on a high note, but various arguments throughout the night underscored some remaining fractures in the group.
Notably, K. Michelle shared a “beautiful” moment with Drew as the cast passed the mic during her “V.S.O.P.” performance. The good vibes didn’t last long, however, when drama involving Drew’s “friend-friend,” Black Tatted, reignited between them immediately afterward. Though Drew abruptly departed the venue prior to a group photo opp on the red carpet outside, she returned at the last minute to pose with the other ladies.
“I love the girls in this group,” Drew said in a confessional. “We have our bumps in the road, but I came back to show up for the ones that support me.”
In the interim, Angela and Kelli clashed in front of the step and repeat, while Shamea and Porsha also remained at odds, leaving plenty more to unpack at the RHOA Season 17 reunion. In the meantime, read on for exclusive updates on where the RHOA cast stands today, as well as details on what’s new in the peach-holders’ lives.
Phaedra Parks’ life after RHOA Season 17
Phaedra’s end card noted that she is “still the Godfather of Atlanta,” though she is also enjoying the honorary title that was bestowed upon her during the cast trip to Scotland: Lady of the Glen. “Unfortunately, her Scottish property exists mostly in spirit,” her post-filming update noted.
In a July 21 Instagram caption, Phaedra joked about her new “Dr. Lady Parks” title, while also hinting at her standing with the group. “We might fuss and fight,” she wrote. “But at the end of the day we are sisters and I really love most of y’all.”
Outside of Phaedra’s multiple professional endeavors, including her work as an attorney, mortician, and more, she continues to successfully co-parent her two growing sons, Ayden, 16, and Dylan, 13, with ex-husband Apollo Nida.
Pinky Cole’s life after RHOA Season 17
During the finale party, Pinky announced, “Tonight feels like a celebration. I’m not filing for bankruptcy anymore.” However, the Slutty Vegan business owner’s update revealed that her circumstances changed, post-filming.
“Nearly 4 million dollars in debt, Pinky’s moving into a new chapter in life… Chapter 11,” Pinky’s end card read. “After filing for bankruptcy, she’s on TikTok teaching the haters: do as I say, not as I owe.”
As she continues balancing professional challenges and her family life with husband Derrick Hayes and their five children, Pinky previously told Bravo Insider in March, “I’m just a walking testimony for entrepreneurs that no matter what you go through, whether it’s good times or bad times, you still can rise above, you still can be resilient, and you can still keep pushing no matter what people say.”
Shamea Morton Mwangi’s life after RHOA Season 17
After Shamea met with her new surrogate amid her fertility journey in the finale, a self-filmed video from three weeks post-filming showed her sharing some happy news with husband Gerald Mwangi. “We’re pregnant,” Shamea revealed.
Shamea’s end card, meanwhile, noted that, after “quite a year of navigating friendships,” her “business life took a hit.” Though Rum Bum is “done,” she and Gerald are launching a perfume together. In an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider, Shamea also teased that she has some new music coming “very soon” and also plans to enter the childcare business.
“My parents had childcare centers,” she explained. “So, I am now gonna be doing something like that as well. I’m looking forward to showing that to the world, too.”

As their own family grows, Shamea also said that she and Gerald “may expand” their $9 million, 21,439-square-foot home, too. “We are constantly renovating and upgrading our home,” she explained. “I’d say this is my forever home, but my husband feels like we need bigger and more. And I’m like, ‘Where?'”
In terms of where Shamea stands with Porsha after their explosive fight, she updated viewers during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen‘s July 19 episode that “the drama’s still happening” on social media. “I agreed to move on from it at reunion and that’s what I’m planning on doing,” she said. “At this point, where do you go? I mean, we’ve already gone to hell.”
Angela Oakley’s life after RHOA Season 17
Following more therapy sessions, Angela and her daughter Ahmauri “have built a healthier bond,” according to her post-filming update. After letting some of the ladies test out her “Fangie” prototype during the finale party, the waitlist for the handheld fans’ drop is “heating up,” per Angela’s end card.
She and husband Charles Oakley are also continuing renovations on their home where they’re raising their blended family that includes four children. “It is expensive,” Angela admitted to Bravo Insider. “I have twenty people at my home working, and it’s a lot. So, I can’t wait to see the finished product.”
Meanwhile, Angela is also still investing in real estate, despite her previous $2 million loss. “I just scaled back,” she added. “I’m into single-family homes. With that being said, I just recently sold a property, and so I’m excited about real estate. You know, I got knocked down, but I get back up, for sure. I’m getting back up.”
Kelli Potter’s life after RHOA Season 17
Despite celebrating the grand opening during Season 17, Drew “leaked the tea” on Kelli’s Nana’s Chicken and Waffles’ Sandy Springs location closing. “And while her kids got cleared to film, Kelli’s legal battle is far from over,” the mom of four’s end card stated. One month later, Kelli and Phaedra, who acted as her attorney, also provided a more recent update on her legal issues with her ex-husband.
Kelli’s friendships with her RHOA castmates, meanwhile, remain largely unchanged since filming the finale. As Kelli revealed to Bravo Insider, she’d recently either spoken to or spent time with Pinky, K. Michelle, Shamea, and Cynthia.

“I stand exactly how I left them,” she said with a laugh. “I mean, I’m good. Listen, I don’t have any issues with many of the ladies. So, I have a great relationship with most of the ladies. Absolutely.”
Professionally, Kelli said that she’s working on a new cookbook, which should be out “very, very soon,” while also relocating Nana’s Chicken and Waffles to a new location. “Just honestly taking it one waffle at a time,” she joked. “It’s no rush.”
Drew Sidora’s life after RHOA Season 17
Drew’s finale end card revealed that she and Ralph Pittman “finally reached a settlement in their bitter divorce.” The update continued, “Reportedly, Drew was ordered to leave the marital home, lost primary custody of her children, and is required to pay monthly child support.”
In terms of her castmate relationships today, Drew told Bravo Insider that she’s “in a really good place with most of the ladies,” including Porsha, Cynthia, and her fellow “Chi-Town” girl, Angela.Â
“I’m talking to Phaedra more, getting to know her,” she added. “I’m a Taurus, so I take a long time to really open up, because once I do, if we’re friends, I’m super loyal. It’s taken some time, but we’re in a good place.”
Though Drew pointed out that “you can kinda see the group is divided,” the actress and singer said that she has also “been bonding” with Pinky. “I think Pinky is a great addition to the group,” Drew shared. “She is so funny, and her marketing mind is phenomenal and top tier. She’s already giving me pointers on what I need to do for my music video. So, I’m getting to know her. I’m enjoying getting to know her as well.”
K. Michelle’s life after RHOA Season 17
After previewing some of the tracks at her listening party on RHOA, K. Michelle officially dropped her lead single, “Jesus & Whiskey,” on July 30. Her full country album of the same name is currently slated for an Oct. 16 release. “And she’s yodeling all the way to the bank!” her end card stated.
In a confessional, K. Michelle reflected on the significance of her long-awaited foray into the country music genre as a Black woman. “I came into this game the underdog,” she explained to a producer. “To be here now, putting out a country album that people laughed at me about, is a moment for me that I will not take for granted.”
Onstage at her event, K. Michelle also had nothing but positive things to say about her first season on RHOA, even despite her drama with Drew. “I have met some of the most beautiful women recently,” she told the crowd. “These women raise their kids, make their money, talk their s–t, get up every day looking beautiful, not like what they are going through. I have watched them fight to be who they are. You guys have changed my life.”
Porsha Williams’ life after RHOA Season 17
After finally choosing to pursue a relationship with Patrice “Sway” McKinney over Mike Bless in the RHOA Season 17 finale, Porsha revealed that they were “exclusively dating” during K. Michelle’s listening party. “Porsha and Sway are still going strong after 8 months, taking family vacations, and living their best lives!” her end card read. “But despite AI-generated rumors, her ring finger will still Go Naked.”
In a July 28 Instagram caption, Porsha “set the record straight” on Season 17, while reflecting on her filmed photo shoot with 7-year-old daughter Pilar Jhena McKinley. “This season, for me, was about rebuilding,” she wrote. “It was about coming into my own, standing in my truth, and letting go of survival mode.”Â
Porsha continued, “I’m a mommy 1st and now I feel closer to my purpose and choosing a life filled with peace and positive experiences. With 20 women on the cast, you don’t get to see everything, but I’m glad the show decided to share this special moment.”
In addition to running her Go Naked Hair and Pampered by Porsha brands, Porsha will appear next as a core cast member on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, which premieres on Sunday, August 9, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
Cynthia Bailey’s life after RHOA Season 17
After K. Michelle’s performance, Cynthia referred to RHOA Season 17 as a “fun ride” with the ladies. Speaking to Bravo Insider afterward, Cynthia mentioned that the “few wrinkles” between her, Shamea, and Kelli, on her Dallas trip could all be “ironed out” eventually.
“I don’t think it’s anything that Shamea and Kelly and I won’t be able to move past at some point,” Cynthia elaborated. “But with that said, I think I’m in a really good place. I’m not in any really dark, murky waters with anyone.”
Cynthia and boyfriend LePrince, meanwhile, are continuing to make their long-distance relationship work, with the Amsterdam-based musician spending months at a time with her in the United States. “We’re both having a great time,” she added. “I want to keep going wherever it takes us.”
As for whether or not marriage is in Cynthia and LePrince’s future, Cynthia revealed, “Honestly, right now, that answer is no. I’ve done it twice. We are 100% committed and in an exclusive relationship, which I love. The type of committed relationship that I’m interested in at this point in my life doesn’t have to be a marriage.”
