Dolores Catania’s son, Frankie Catania Jr., is officially married! The Real Housewives of New Jersey son got married to Nicole Perricho in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Portugal, tying the knot in front of their loved ones on August 1.
Frankie Jr. and Nicole got married on Saturday, Aug. 1, in Duoro Valley, Portugal, surrounded by their friends and family members. This included Dolores’ daughter and Frankie Jr.’s older sister, Gabby Catania, and their dad (and Dolores’ ex), Frank Catania Sr.
The couple spoke with People after the wedding festivities, where they opened up about their “relaxed, elegant, and effortlessly romantic” celebration of love. “Nicole’s family is from Portugal and her roots here run deep,” Frankie Jr. explained to the publication. “We’ve been coming here every summer since we started dating, so it already felt like home to us. I couldn’t think of a more beautiful place to begin our marriage.”
After saying “I do” in a traditional Catholic ceremony, the couple treated guests to a dinner comprised of Portuguese- inspired cuisine, Portuguese pastries, and a bustling dance floor with a DJ playing a mix of “early 2000’s music.” “We also had a projector playing scenes from Miami Vice throughout the reception. It’s one of our favorite shows to watch together, and it was a fun little detail that made the reception feel even more like us,” they explained.

Dolores, the proud mother of the groom, took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she posted so many looks from inside the wedding. Her fiancé, Paulie Connell, captured a photo of the couple at the end of the evening, before she posted a photo of her showing off her light blue, floral-embellished, mother of the groom dress while she fanned her face. “Fanning over this beautiful, fairytale wedding,” she wrote over the photo.
Gabby (who also recently got engaged) was on hand to snap a photo of herself wearing her sea foam green dress before taking a photo of Nicole wearing her wedding dress while welcoming her to the family. “That’s my actual seester [sister],” the veterinarian wrote over the photo. She also shared a look at their super fun and dreamy exit from the wedding, which included sparklers going off in front of their last name. “Does it get more special than this???” she asked.

Dolores had previously opened up about her excitement to welcome Nicole into their family in May, taking to Instagram to post a tribute to Nicole, her “second daughter” and “Little Queen” on her birthday. “You are so beautiful beyond words, inside and out, and such a light in all of our lives,” she wrote. “Thank you for bringing so much joy, laughter, love, and energy wherever you go. You light up every room the second you walk in, and everyone who knows you is better because of it. We are truly so blessed to have you and love you more than you will ever know!”
