Kandi Burruss is sharing a new look at her relationship with her ex-husband, Todd Tucker. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s ex-husband turned 53 years old on Aug. 4, receiving well wishes from his ex-wife after their divorce.
The RHOA alum took to Instagram on Tuesday, where Kandi posted a photo of Todd all dressed up in black, posing alongside their two children — Ace Tucker and Blaze Tucker — as well as his daughter from a previous relationship, Kaela Tucker, and her daughter from a previous relationship, Riley Burruss. She also posted a more casual photo of Todd having fun posing on the red carpet in the carousel.
“Happy birthday [Todd]!!!!!” she captioned the post. “I pray this next year brings you joy & success! Keep living your best life!”
Todd re-posted this message to his Instagram Story, before taking to his own account to post a message, reflecting on his birthday. “My life is like a new album, a range of emotions!” he wrote in the caption of the post. “I hope you have enjoyed sharing my journey. I’m not perfect, but I’m working at it! Live, Love, Laugh!”
Kandi Burruss opens up about co-parenting with Todd Tucker after their divorce
Kandi and Todd remain on good terms following their divorce as they work to co-parent their two young children together. Kandi spoke with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a video posted on May 15 where she admitted that she has no problem going on vacations with Todd for the sake of their kids.
“We co-parent well,” she said. “Whatever’s gonna make the kids happy. Like, they wanna ‘Oh, why can’t we all take a trip together?’ OK, you want us both on the trip? We gonna figure out how to do this co-parenting thing on a trip. Now, I ain’t ever think I would have said, like, back in the day if you would have asked me, I would have been like, ‘What?!’ But now I’m like, ‘OK, let’s keep it friendly.'”

Todd Tucker shares updates on being a dad and dating following divorce from Kandi Burruss
Todd has been active in documenting his life as a co-parent on social media, taking to Instagram to post photos of him hanging out with Ace and Blaze and pose questions about raising kids in two different households. “Should the kids have the same rules in both households?” he asked in a video posted on July 3.Â
He’s also opened up about dating after divorce, taking to Instagram on July 27 to ask why men rush back into relationships when they’re newly divorced. He also posted a video on Aug. 2 to ask about the proper time to introduce a new partner to kids after a divorce. “How soon is too soon?! I’m just asking for a friend,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
