Ariana Biermann and Riley Burruss are sharing a look at their friendship today after their issues as seen on Next Gen NYC Season 2, Episode 4. The two Georgia natives got into it after a girls’ night out (more on that down below), but appear to be in a better place today.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughters stepped out on the town in NYC on Tuesday, Aug. 4, to celebrate the premiere of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. In the photos from the event, Riley and Ariana can be seen looking so chic in their evening wear, hanging out at the event, along with their friend and fellow Next Gen NYC cast member, Shai Fruchter. All three of the NYC residents gave the photo their seal of approval, posting it on their own individual Instagram Stories that evening.
Ariana also got in some good, quality time with her cast members at the event in a photo posted to Andy Cohen’s Instagram Story. In the photo, Ariana can be seen hanging out with Shai and fellow Next Gen NYC cast members, Gia Giudice, Georgia McCann, Liam Obergfoll, Brooks Marks, and Emira D’Spain as they all smiled for the camera.

Ariana Biermann and Riley Burruss open up about where they stand today
Ariana and Riley’s reunion comes on the heels of the comments Ariana made on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 22, where she opened up about where they stood after Next Gen NYC Season 2, Episode 4. “No, she didn’t apologize, and she actually hasn’t spoken to me since it came out,” she said on WWHL.
However, both Ariana and Riley admitted that they were still “besties” during the Next Gen NYC After Show after the episode aired. “Riley is one of my best friends,” Ariana stated. “I literally adore this woman and love her and know her heart. And I know how good of a person she is. This year, we’re definitely navigating our friendship.”
Riley also admitted that their life changes contributed to their differences in their friendship. “This year we’re in different phases,” she explained during the Next Gen NYC After Show. “I feel like we’re in a disconnect because she’s never seen me in a relationship like this. So, it’s kind of hard to adapt. So, we’re trying to re-learn this version of us, and it’s pretty hard.”
