New York, New York – TikTok star Sydney Towle has passed away at 26 years old after a battle with a rare form of cancer.

The influencer’s tragic death was announced on her Instagram page on Thursday, confirming she had passed the day before.
“We will always love you so much Sydney. I am so proud of how hard you fought. I love you,” the Instagram post read.
The statement was accompanied by a photo of Sydney smiling on a hike and described her as “an endless ray of sunshine” and a “daughter, sister, and friend to so many.”

Sydney was diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma, a rare bile duct cancer, when she was 23 years old.
She shared her journey through surgeries, chemotherapy, and other treatments with her more than one million TikTok followers.
Sydney’s brother, Austin, announced on Tuesday that she had been moved into hospice care, where she was surrounded by family and friends in her final hours.
In a post of his own on Thursday, Austin mourned “the best sister ever” and gushed, “I will always love you so so much.”
The social media star revealed in May that her doctor had declined to continue her cancer treatment and suggested that she pivot to end-of-life care, but Sydney refused and began participating in a clinical trial that used tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte therapy, per People.
At the same time, she continued to pursue her dreams and walked down the runway of Miami Swim Week, where she joined other influencers also battling cancer in the The Chemo Club x Post Swim show.
