Dolores Catania is opening up about son Frankie Catania Jr.’s “beautiful” wedding to his new wife, Nicole Perricho. The Real Housewives of New Jersey son got married to Nicole in Portugal on Saturday, Aug. 1, and Dolores could not be any happier for the newlywed couple.
Dolores took to Instagram on June 5, where she posted a series of photos and videos from the wedding. In the photos, Nicole and Frankie can be seen posing after the ceremony with each other, before Dolores snapped a sweet photo of the bride standing in front of the gorgeous hills of Portugal. She also grabbed so many clips of the getting-ready process alongside her daughter, Gabby Catania, and Frankie, before capturing the stunning chapel where her son got married in on camera. Dolores was also on hand to snap videos from the ceremony where she can be seen dancing with Frankie, and hanging out with Gabby and her fiancé, Mike Tallia.
Dolores then took to the caption of the post where she shared the sweetest message to her son and her new daughter-in-law. “The most beautiful wedding for the most beautiful couple a true fairytale. From the moment I met you, Nicole, I knew you were someone special. Today, I didn’t just watch my son marry the love of his life…I gained a daughter,” she wrote.

Dolores continued in the caption of the post, sharing her well wishes for her son as he enters this new chapter in his life. “Frankie, I couldn’t be prouder of the man you’ve become, and seeing the two of you together fills my heart in ways I couldn’t describe,” she noted. “May your marriage always be filled with love, laughter, friendship, and unwavering support. Here’s to a lifetime of beautiful memories together. Forever starts now.”
Dolores had previously taken to her Instagram Story throughout the wedding weekend, where she posted a photo of her fanning herself while wearing her floral-embellished, sea foam green, mother of the bride dress. “Fanning over this beautiful fairytale wedding,” she wrote, while Gabby posted a mirror picture taken at the wedding.

The couple spoke with PEOPLE after the wedding festivities, where Frankie and Nicole shared details about their “relaxed, elegant, and effortlessly romantic” wedding, which took place in Douro Valley, Portugal. Frankie and Nicole said “I do” in a traditional Catholic ceremony, before guests dined on Portuguese- inspired cuisine and pastries. Guests then proceeded to the dance floor, where they grooved to a mix of “early 2000’s music.” “We had a projector playing scenes from Miami Vice throughout the reception. It’s one of our favorite shows to watch together, and it was a fun little detail that made the reception feel even more like us,” Frankie told the publication.
Dolores and her family members took to their Instagram Stories throughout the weekend, where they snapped so many photos of the happy couple. In the pictures, Nicole and Frankie can be seen kissing in front of the water and walking arm in arm down the streets of the Douro Valley. Gabby was also able to get a stunning solo shot of the bride as she got ready before revealing that she was excited to have an “actual” sister.

In another Instagram post shared by Dolores after the wedding took place, the caption noted how much love there was at the event and how the wedding reflected the couple and their loved ones on the guest list.Â
