The Next Gen NYC cast member spoke with E! News on Aug. 6 and shared the news of her and Hudson’s latest breakup. “I’m a single girl,” she told the outlet. “He will always be like a dear friend and a close person in my life. There will always be love there.”
She continued, opening up about why things didn’t work out this time after getting back together in early 2026 following their October 2025 breakup. “Our paths right now are just still in two different ways,” she added. “We gave it a shot one more time, and it just didn’t work out, but we’re in a great place still with each other.”
“There’s so much love, and I care so much about him. I just want what’s best for him,” she noted.
Why did Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy break up?
Ariana and Hudson broke up this time after their paths went in “two different ways.” They originally broke up in October 2025 after three official years of dating, which was captured on Next Gen NYC Season 2, Episode 1. Ariana released a statement about their split in October, noting that they were making the best decision for themselves. “While these things are never easy, we both know what’s best for us right now,” she wrote. “We are so grateful for all of the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s OK. Love you all.”
When did Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy get back together?
Ariana spoke with Bravo Insider in July 2026, where she revealed that she and Hudson reconnected in early 2026 after both going through things in their lives. “We were both going through a pretty rough time in January and February, and he was going through some especially hard things, and I really wanted to be there for him no matter what,” she said. “He’s somebody that will always be important to me, and we just kind of started talking in the process of me trying to be there for him and vice versa. And one thing led to another, and here we are today.”

Although Ariana confirmed to Bravo Insider that she was seeing Hudson at the time, she admitted that they were taking their relationship “day by day.” “I feel like that’s kind of a day by day thing, ’cause we want to get through the things, the reasons why I left,” she explained. “We broke up with each other, you know? That’s why it’s still up in the air in a way.”
She reiterated this during a July 22 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “We are together, but it’s kind of like we’re still figuring it out,” she said. “I don’t want to have the back and forth again. I just want to make sure that we can still grow independently.”
