Kyle Richards has not heard from Dorit Kemsley following the conclusion of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15. The diamond holders feuded throughout RHOBH Season 15 (more on that below), although they had been friends long before. But Kyle is hopeful for their future together.
Kyle spoke with Us Weekly on Tuesday, Aug. 4, where she revealed that she reached out to Dorit when her memoir, Unburdened, was released in June to “congratulate her.” But Kyle never received anything in reply. “Other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything,” she told the publication.
Kyle continued, admitting that she would love to be there for Dorit amid her divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley as she goes through her own separation from Mauricio Umansky. “It’s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family,” she explained. “I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been better off leaning on each other.”
Dorit Kemsley says she’s “always open” to reconnecting with Kyle Richards
Dorit confirmed with Extra in May that she had not spoken to Kyle following the RHOBH Season 15 reunion. However, she did admit she would be open to reconciling with her in the future. “Listen, I think you need two people. Any type of resolve, you need two people. And I’ve always said that,” she said in a clip posted to Instagram. “And I’ve also always said because truly I’m the type of person where there’s nothing that you can’t get over if two people want to. And I’m always open to it. Always open to it.”
“And I think if Kyle feels the same way then there’s room,” she added. “If she doesn’t, it’s not something I’m not going to try to push my way to try and mend things if that’s not in her heart. I know she cares about me. I care about her. I care about her daughters immensely.”
