Kyle Cooke is sharing major updates on his dating life today, following his separation from ex-wife, Amanda Batula. The Summer House cast member has been open about having fun with dating other people amid his split, and is now even looking to really put himself out there.
Kyle took to his Instagram Story earlier this week, where he admitted to possibly wanting to join a dating app. But he was unsure of which dating app he should join. “If I were to join ONE dating app….what would you recommend?” he asked. “Not saying I’m going to do it!”
He continued, sharing an honest look at his dating life today. “I’ve only gone on a few dates so far…More curious than anything,” he added.
After polling his Instagram followers, Kyle came to the conclusion that he should join Raya, which won 47 percent of the vote, or Hinge, which received 37 percent of the vote. “Results are in,” he wrote over the poll.

Kyle and Amanda confirmed they were divorcing in a joint statement released in January 2026. “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the statement said at the time. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing. It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter. Amanda & Kyle.”
Kyle Cooke opens up about “having fun” in dating amid his separation
In the months since, Kyle has been linked to The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King; Next Gen NYC cast member Ava Dash; and Southern Charm‘s Salley Carson (more on that down below). But in June, he told PEOPLE that he was single and having fun. “I’m in my own little world at the moment,” he confirmed.
“I’m traveling a lot, so I’m not even really in a position to date in New York. I’m having fun,” he admitted to the publication. “I will 100 percent be single this summer because I’m looking at my calendar and I’m like, ‘Yeah, there’s no chance for me to even date locally.'”

Salley Carson opens up about her love life amid Kyle Cooke dating rumors
During Part 1 of the In The City Season 1 reunion, Kyle admitted to hooking up with Salley during a March 2026 trip to Charleston. While Kyle has admitted to hanging out with Salley during a March appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Salley took to her Instagram Story in July, where she dished on her own love life today.
Salley held a Q&A on her Story where she was asked about her current status with Kyle, with them inquiring if it was “love,” “fun,” or something more casual. Salley replied and admitted how she felt. “Can 3 things be true at the same time?” she asked. While Salley hinted that she would be settling down “soon” and admitted that she was “anxiously attached” to someone, she did not reveal if that person is Kyle.
