Kansas City, Missouri – Travis Kelce made his first public comments on his wedding to Taylor Swift as he returned to the gridiron for training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs.

On Wednesday, the 36-year-old tight end told reporters that it had been “a fun offseason” and gushed that his wedding to Taylor at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3 was the “best night” of his life.
“I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he added. “That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”
Travis then referred to the 36-year-old pop star as his “wife” for the first time in public as he dished on their unconventional wedding venue.

“MSG, man, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp,” he said.
Taylor was courtside for Game 4 of the NBA Finals back in June, just a few weeks before she’d tie the knot at that very arena.
Travis said the wedding fulfilled his “childhood dream” and called Madison Square Garden the “mecca of all sports venues.”
The Super Bowl champ gave the arena’s staff a special shoutout, adding, “I can’t thank the owners of MSG [enough] for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event and everything.”
Taylor and Travis’ wedding venue certainly raised some eyebrows, but it ultimately did allow them to keep it under wraps. So far, fans have not gotten a peek inside the star-studded nuptials.
