North Dakota – Tyler Duckworth, who rose to fame on the MTV reality show The Challenge, has sadly passed away at just 44 years old.
Duckworth was found lifeless in his bathroom in North Dakota on Tuesday, according to a report by TMZ.
The reality star had recently undergone leg surgery, but whether the procedure is linked to his death remains unclear.
Duckworth’s The Challenge co‑star Paulie Calafiore was especially affected by the tragic loss. He told TMZ that Duckworth was one of the first people to support him after he came out as bisexual.

The pair met up just two weeks ago, and Duckworth had told him he was proud of the impact he’d had beyond the show.
Mark Long also paid tribute to Duckworth, recalling his upbeat nature. He had recently seen him at a Challenge Mann event in Minneapolis.
Duckworth was someone who could “light up a room with his smile and jovial spirit.” He added that his death is a “devastating loss for the Challenge family.”
Duckworth made his debut on The Challenge in 2006. His biggest successes include the wins in the Cutthroat season in 2010 and Rivals in 2011. He returned once more in 2021 for The Challenge: All Stars 2.
The TV series has been on air since 1998, bringing together former contestants from various reality shows to compete in physically and mentally demanding challenges.
The concept blends reality TV, competition, and strategy: contestants form teams or compete individually, earn points or prize money, and must constantly survive elimination rounds.
