The Valley Season 3 Reunion Backstage Interviews (EXCLUSIVE)

Brittany Cartwright “cried a lot” watching The Valley Season 3

Brittany revealed that she “binge-watched” six or seven episodes the night before the reunion taping and finished the Season 3 finale just minutes before her hair and makeup team got to work on her Old Hollywood-themed glam.

“I’m feeling a little weird because a lot of stuff was said about me that I didn’t know until I watched the season,” she admitted to Bravo Insider. “People didn’t even talk to me about it. They just were talking behind my back about it. It was really strange. I cried a lot.”

After the “really hard” viewing experience, Brittany expected some apologies “from people who acted like I was lying about stuff whenever there’s proof that I was telling the truth.” She added, “I feel like I’m nice to everybody. I try not to start drama. I try to, like, help everybody in this group. But I feel like I was thrown under the bus so much this season that I had no idea about until I watched it.”

Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick unpacked their reunion worries

Like Brittany, Kristen had also “just finished” screening the last batch of Season 3 episodes. “My brain is trying to compute everything that I watched,” she said. “I’m always here to own all of my stuff, probably call some people out, but right now, I’m in a good mood. I just don’t want to hear a bunch of yelling. Come on, people.”

Heading into the reunion, Kristen noted two specific concerns. “I’m most worried about Jesse telling a story that’s too long,” she joked. “Or Janet walking off and being like Amanda Batula and not coming back for like an hour.”

Her “exhausted” husband, Luke, on the other hand, said that he wasn’t “carrying much anxiety” with him to the stage. “Kristen and I are in a different place,” he explained, referencing their Season 3 marital issues. “It’s weird, the first year as parents. Things evolve so fast, and to look back on that feels like a lifetime ago, so yeah. I’m not really nervous. I’ve got a smile on my face.”

Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz compared The Valley and Vanderpump Rules reunions

The sit-down marked Lala and Tom’s first reunion since Vanderpump Rules Season 11, and they both agreed that the vibes were completely different. “Season 11 sends me into full panic, so compared to that, I’m on cloud nine,” Lala remarked. “I’m not nervous for this reunion at all, and I’m usually always nervous. It is the first reunion I don’t feel like I have anything to apologize for. So that’s new.”

Separately, Tom said he similarly felt “way less nervous” than he did before the “truly tense” Vanderpump Rules reunions for Season 10 and 11, which he joked “shaved at least three, four years off” his life.

“You could literally feel the tension in the air,” Tom stated. “This is way more chill. The last two reunions for Vanderpump Rules were terrifying. Like, I’m not even kidding. This isn’t a schtick. They were actually scary and took many therapy sessions to get over those.”

Lala and Tom also did their best Lisa Vanderpump impressions, while imagining what their former boss would have said to them if she was there. “She would tell us that she loves us all and she’s proud of us all and this is where resolution comes from,” Lala theorized. “And now I miss her! Dang it!”

Tom, for his part, added, “If Lisa Vanderpump was here, she would say, ‘Schwartzy, toughen up that constitution, sit up straight, and don’t be a wussy-pussy, darling.'”

The Valley cast revealed their post-reunion plans

Even pre-reunion, Janet was already looking forward to “being done” with filming, especially because she and “The Hive,” i.e. the moniker that Zack gave her, Brittany, Michelle, and Lala, already had dinner plans lined up at a local sushi restaurant.

While on the subject of food, Janet also wanted to quickly clear up why she’d delivered spaghetti in a plastic bag to Brittany amid her post-surgery recovery. “I brought my other Tupperware containers the days leading up to that,” she explained. “And I had a mound of dishes, and I’m sure she did. So, Ziploc is an appropriate form of bringing to-go food.”

Nia, meanwhile, said there was only one thing on her and Danny’s agenda after the reunion wrapped: getting some sleep. “I’m sure people will be going out and doing the thing,” the mom of four predicted. “We go home to our beautiful family, and the kids don’t slow down. So, tomorrow, they’ll be up at 6 a.m. ready to rock and roll, so I plan on sleeping.”

Danny Booko planned to make good use of his time in the hot seat

Nearly everyone named Danny as The Valley cast member most likely to end up in the reunion hot seat. As he even put it himself, “I feel a little bit like Daniel going into the lions’ den, but we’re gonna get through it and have a good time, hopefully.”

Backstage, both he and Nia had the word “resolution” on their minds, as they expressed their hopes for some reconciliation within the group by the end of the day.

“I definitely am looking forward to taking accountability and apologizing for some things that I haven’t been able to do publicly,” Danny added. “And I hope that there are some apologies by other people, so that we could get past some things and have some resolution. I really do want peace. I really do want us all to get along. I just hope that some people are willing to do that.”

Jasmine Goode was still basking in her post-wedding honeymoon phase

The Valley‘s Season 3 reunion filmed just days after Jasmine’s wedding to Melissa Carelli took place at a New Jersey venue that her new wife’s dad built. “Reunions are always scary and intense, but I feel good,” Jasmine said, before reflecting on her “dream” wedding. “I’m on such a high right now that I’m not letting it break my soul. So, I’m just gonna have fun.”

The new bride joked that she even also almost wore her wedding dress to the reunion but ultimately decided on a yellow Meshki dress that she felt perfectly complemented her skin tone.

Jasmine also shared that she and Melissa were planning to embark on a “mini-moon,” before taking a bigger honeymoon trip in the winter. “Melissa wants to go to Africa,” she said, specifically mentioning Seychelles. “I honestly don’t care. I just want somewhere with a beach. Anywhere with a beach, ocean, that’s my vibe.”
