Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke are now helping each other date nearly three years after calling off their engagement. The Summer House exes were engaged to be married before breaking up in September 2023, and are now very close today.
Lindsay and Carl spoke with PEOPLE in an interview published on Aug. 20 where they opened up about their friendly dynamic, which involves hyping each other up in their single lives. “We’re trying to help wingman [for each other] too,” Carl told the publication, noting that they are “celebrating each other’s singleness.”
“Yeah, a little bit,” Lindsay agreed. “I’ve given advice along the way.”
Carl revealed that he has just a few simple requirements for Lindsay’s future partner. “I want her to be respected and find someone and have fun and be treated well. And like, of course I care about whoever that is, so I’m going to be supportive,” he said. “And if he f–ks up, we’ll have some words with him.”

Carl opened up about how much Lindsay’s friendship means to him in the August 2026 interview with PEOPLE. “I care a lot about this person. She’s been in my life for a long time and the fact that we’re where we are right now, it means a lot to me,” he explained. “And it’s been really just healthy, and I love the chapter that we’re on right now. For real.”
“We’re enjoying it. It’s been really fun,” Lindsay added.
