
In a clip from the 70-year-old’s upcoming interview with ABC News, Vogel reflected on her daughter’s “talent” and insisted on how the world should honor the Heroes star.
“I want Hayden to be remembered for the talented, you know, beautiful, outgoing, intelligent woman she really was,” the Loving actor shared.
Vogel, who was estranged from her daughter after being her manager, also slammed Gayle King and Megyn Kelly for their on-going criticism against her during a separate chat with The Daily Mail.

“I was very, very hurt and deeply disappointed in the lack of professionalism, the lack of compassion in slamming someone who’s lost two children, without even a modicum of consideration,” she said.
Vogel added, “No one reached out to me before. It’s shameful. It’s unconscionable to me.”
The former actor has adamantly accused Hayden’s on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, of being involved in the Nashville star’s death and doubts his accounts of her final hours.
Hickerson addressed Hayden’s passing via his attorney, who shared with TMZ: “As has been publicly reported, police confirmed there were no signs of foul play. Out of respect for Hayden’s loved ones and the ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time.”
