Porsha Williams is continuing to co-parent her daughter, Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley, with her ex-fiancé, Dennis McKinley. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is very happy in her new relationship with Patrice “Sway” McKinney, while still maintaining a strong relationship with her ex.
Porsha opened up about her relationship with Dennis during RHOA Season 17, Episode 11. “Even though Dennis can be Dennis the Menace, I love him, and he’s a really good father,” she admitted during a confessional. “I really couldn’t ask for anything else other than that, even if we’re not together.”
She continued, revealing how they’re able to be so amicable for Pilar. “In a perfect world, [I’d] love to be back with Dennis,” she stated. “There is just another side to us that happens when we’re together that I just don’t like. I don’t ever want to be arguing in front of Pilar. I have never introduced her to a toxic household at all.”

Porsha and Dennis were together in August 2026, where they sent PJ off to her first day of second grade. Porsha took to her Instagram account on Aug. 18, where she posted a series of photos of PJ standing in front of a balloon backdrop at their Georgia home, which has been a tradition for their sweet daughter. Porsha took to the caption of the post, where she gave credit to her mom and Dennis for being there for PJ, who were there that morning to send her off to school. “Pilar, Mommy is SO proud of the smart, beautiful, sweet girl you are! You have an amazing village surrounding you with so much love, support, and prayer,” Porsha noted.
Dennis also took to Instagram to post photos from PJ’s first day of school, where it was revealed that she loves art, donuts, and wants to own a restaurant in the future, just like her dad. “PJ went back to school last week, but more importantly, she said she wanted to open a restaurant when she gets older! (I’ll never let her do it but still),” he wrote in the caption of the post.
