Los Angeles, California – Benny Blanco reflected on his private nuptials to Selena Gomez and how their wedding fulfilled Selena’s childhood dream.
On his Friends Keep Secrets podcast, the music producer spilled more tea from his wedding ceremony with the Lose You to Love Me artist after guest star Gwyneth Paltrow was shocked to learn that he married Selena.
Benny divulged, “We rented a palm tree farm and converted it into a – we just wanted to do something unconventional.”
The Hermoso artist continued, “And Selena, she had a dream for a wedding since she was a kid. She’s like, ‘I want to walk down the aisle, and I want the aisle to be, like, Persian rugs off-centered. I don’t want normal flowers. I don’t want it to feel bougie.'”

The couple wed in Santa Barbara last September with several A-list guests in attendance, including Taylor Swift, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Sofia Carson.
Benny added, “So it was, like, incredible and you could tell we put so much effort into it, but also didn’t feel, like, stuffy.”
