What Happened Between Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose? See Timeline

Lisa and Whitney fell out of friendship for a number of reasons. The major fallout from their friendship occurred during RHOSLC Season 5, when both women accused each other of being bad friends. Things escalated in RHOSLC Season 6 when Whitney accused Lisa of spreading rumors about her businesses.

By RHOSLC Season 3, Whitney and Lisa were on the path to becoming close friends after Whitney attended a healing session with her energy healer who directed her energy toward Lisa. “Maybe there is something there worth fighting for,” Whitney told Meredith during RHOSLC Season 3, Episode 2.

Whitney and Lisa appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen together in September 2022 where Whitney stated that she “never thought” she would be as friendly with Lisa and that she trusted Lisa more than Heather at the time. The duo continued to grow close throughout the season, with Whitney telling Lisa a rumor about her during the season, allowing Lisa to put an early end to everything before the other women could escalate it.

By RHOSLC Season 5, Whitney and Lisa were on the outs again. During RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 1, Whitney admitted to calling Lisa a “villain” which upset Lisa and restarted their feud. “She did this podcast. She was rude about me like, ‘Lisa’s the new villain,'” Lisa explained during a confessional.

During RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 2, Whitney accused Lisa her of deliberately hurting her feelings. “At a basic human level, if someone is being vulnerable with you and telling them about their trauma, do not weaponize it to hurt them,” she said. They ended the conversation by accusing each other of being a “s–tty friend” and admitting they had issues with each other.

Things continued to escalate between them as Whitney accused Lisa of leaking a rumor that she was reselling jewelry from Alibaba under her brand, PRISM. “She has a lot of accounts that do dirty work for her, and I know this because she betrayed one of them and that account showed me receipts,” Whitney explained during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show.

Whitney and Lisa had a run in on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th Episode 3 when Whitney made an appearance at Kyle Richards’ white party in Beverly Hills alongside RHOSLC cast member Bronwyn Newport. During the evening, Lisa told her fellow RHUGT castmates to watch the RHOSLC Season 6 reunion to get an idea for what went on between her and Whitney. “She literally just went on a stage and told more lies, so why would I go there? I’m sober all the time for this job, so I’m like, I remember,” Lisa told Porsha Williams and Gizelle Bryant.

When Gizelle approached Whitney and Bronwyn at the party to say Lisa had said Whitney lied at the reunion, Whitney was not surprised. “Next thing you know, you’re going to be the liar,” Whitney told Gizelle. 

“Gizelle, no one in Salt Lake is speaking to them,” she said of Lisa and Meredith. “They’ve burned every bridge…I don’t even want to waste another breath even talking about that bitch.”

Whitney and Lisa stood on uneven ground after RHOSLC Season 6 and RHUGT: Roaring 20th. But, Whitney is working to repair her friendship with Lisa during RHOSLC Season 7. According to an announcement for Season 7, while Whitney’s bond with Bronwyn Newport is “as strong as ever, Whitney looks to make amends with Lisa and Meredith, though the road ahead may be uneasy.”
