Steve McBee Sr. is sharing a look at his life on the McBee family farm, following his release from prison. The McBee Family Dynasty: Real American Cowboys patriarch finished serving his sentence in prison in South Dakota on Sept. 11 and is now home in Gallatin, Missouri.
Steve Sr. and his many family members took to their Instagram Stories over the weekend, where they opened up about their sweet reunion. Oldest son, Steven McBee Jr., took to his Instagram Story, where he posted a video of Steve Sr. surrounded by his kids and his ex-wife Kristi McBee, while playing with his grandchildren on the farm. “Life is good,” Steven Jr. wrote over the snapshot.
Steve Sr. also spent some major quality time with his friends and son, Cole McBee, who welcomed his second child, Tate McBee, into the world while Steve Sr. was away in prison. “So blessed to have the family back together. Dad and Tate have officially got to meet now,” Cole wrote over the photo, while Steve Sr. took to the comments of the post, where he opened up about meeting his third grandchild.
“God is so good to grant me another beautiful, healthy Granddaughter,” Steve Sr. wrote.
Steven McBee Sr. makes a statement on his life at home following release from prison
Steve Sr. also took to his Instagram account over the weekend, where he gave a look at the things that he is so grateful for following his release. He first posted a video of the family farm, where he opened up about how happy he was in the caption of the post. “A little more appreciation for the simple things in life…Thank you, Lord, for all the blessings in my life,” he wrote.
Steven Jr. took to the comments, where he shared his commentary to his dad’s homecoming. “Best 24 hours we’ve had in a long, long time,” he wrote. “So many good memories to make and time to have together as a COMPLETE family! Love you and excited for what’s to come!”
But it also didn’t take Steve Sr. long to get back to doing the things he loves. He took to his Instagram account the next day, where he posted a video of himself hanging out with his truck and his dog, Gunner. “Life’s good. My man ‘Gunner’ helping clean the outbuilding,” he wrote over the video. “Missed this guy too.”

Steven McBee Jr. reveals how he prepped for Steven McBee Sr.’s arrival home from prison
Prior to his dad returning home, Steven Jr. made sure that everything was perfect for his arrival. He took to his Instagram Story earlier in the week, where he posted a photo of Steve Sr.’s office at his house, showing off his rustic deck, leather chairs, neutral rug, and nature-themed decor.
“Dad gets home Friday, so we’ve been busting it every evening and the last few weekends renovating and updating his lodge. New home office,” he wrote over the photo, along with a check mark emoji.
