What season of RHOSLC should you start with?
While RHOSLC Season 5 was the first season to feature the current Season 7 cast together, it’s important to start at the beginning. After all, RHOSLC Season 1 features five(!) ‘Wives that are still on the show today: Heather, Whitney, Lisa, Meredith, and Mary.
What’s more, Meredith first announced she was “disengaging,” one of her most-quoted phrases, during several arguments with Jen Shah during Season 1. Mary also uttered one of her most iconic lines right from the get-go in the very first episode, when she caused a friendship rift by telling Jen she “smelled like hospital.”Â
Later, Mary caused quite a stir amongst the ‘Wives when it was revealed she was married to her step-grandfather Robert Cosby Sr. “Basically, my grandmother passed everything on to me and — literally — she wanted me to also marry her second husband, which was my step-grandfather,” she said to explain her dead grandmother’s will.
RHOLSC Season 1 also laid the groundwork for the cast’s ties to the Mormon church. Heather began documenting her long journey to leave the church behind after her divorce, and her cousin Whitney also opened up on her highly-publicized decision to walk away from the Mormon Church.

When did Angie Katsanevas join RHOSLC?
Though Angie officially joined RHOSLC during Season 3 as a friend of the cast, her first appearance on the show happened on Season 2, Episode 8 when Lisa held a Fresh Wolf event in Angie’s salon. As Angie recalled to Bravo Insider, “So imagine my debut appearance — I was in a sandwich with some pretty big personalities, and they had their own issues at the time. I remember I didn’t wanna really insert myself in their drama…I was there as a neutral party with the event being filmed in my business.”
After being introduced by Heather on RHOSLC Season 3, Angie quickly rose to official cast member for Season 4 — a difficult task to pull off in the Real Housewives universe. “To become a main cast member, it definitely does give you a bit of a confidence boost, because some of the ladies don’t want to look at you as an equal when you’re a friend,” Angie said. “And I think being full-time definitely makes you feel like we’re on equal playing ground here.”

RHOSLC Season 1

OG ‘Wives Heather, Whitney, Meredith, Lisa and Mary were all introduced in Season 1. While Lisa and Meredith’s close friendship was showcased, Whitney and Heather’s relationship as cousins and friends was also explored, and the two were open about their experiences with the Mormon Church. Mary’s controversial marriage to her step-grandfather was also a hot topic amongst the ‘Wives.Â
RHOSLC Season 2

Jen Shah’s shocking arrest dominated the storylines of RHOSLC Season 2. Jen was arrested while filming, and authorities showed up and stopped the ‘Wives in a sprinter van as they were searching for Jen. Lisa and Meredith’s friendship hit a rough spot after Lisa was caught on a hot mic talking badly about her. Mary faced rumors that her church was a “cult.”Â
RHOSLC Season 3

Jen’s legal troubles continued to weigh heavy on the group during RHOSLC Season 3. Heather and Whitney went through a rough patch in their friendship concerning a rumor about Lisa, and Whitney accused Heather of not having her back.
RHOSLC Season 4

New Housewife Monica Garcia joined the ‘Wives for RHOSLC Season 4, along with friend Angie. Whitney and Heather fought over how Whitney was portrayed in Heather’s memoir, Bad Mormon. Lisa and Meredith began a path back to friendship. The season ended with a bombshell during the finale as Monica was revealed to be behind a troll Instagram account under the name of Reality Von Tease, with Heather providing “receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots!”
RHOSLC Season 5

New Housewife Bronwyn joined the group. Lisa and Whitney had a falling out after Whitney accused Lisa of starting a rumor about her jewelry line. Mary opened up about her now-late son’s struggles with sobriety after the two had an honest conversation on camera.Â
RHOSLC Season 6

Lisa and Whitney’s feud escalated as Lisa hosted the ‘Wives and defended her business lawsuits. Lisa also fought with Heather during a crossover charter between the ‘Wives and the Below Deck Down Under Season 4 crew. Meredith and friend Britani Bateman had a dramatic plane ride home after the charter.
