“Like everybody was there for Mary and I think in their own capacity, but there are things in life that are just greater than us. Bigger than us. And at those turns, you have to be supportive and strong, and Mary was incredible,” she said.
“She’s very strong throughout the whole process, and I just wanted her to feel loved and supported,” she said.

Meredith Marks reveals how she’s grown closer to Mary Cosby in RHOSLC Season 7
Meredith continued, telling Bravo Insider that the differences they experienced in the past got pushed aside after Robert Jr. passed away. “The minutia that Mary and I argued about was just insignificant,” she said. “And quite frankly, I think a lot [of] it was stemming from Mary managing what was happening in her life, and not really being 100 percent aware of some of the things that were going on around her. I think she had people telling her certain things, and she believed it because, quite frankly, she has much more important things to be concerned with. And not to let that go would be heartless in my view.”

Meredith also revealed how Mary is doing today. “She still has stayed really strong through this process,” she said to . “Obviously she has good days and bad days. She’s human. But I always say there are bigger issues going on. And sometimes we get caught up in the minutia. And there is nothing bigger than a mother losing her child. There’s nothing worse that can happen. And it did.”
In addition to having Meredith to lean on, Mary spoke to Bravo Insider earlier this year in a separate interview, where she shared how she and her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., have been handling the loss of their son and supporting one another. “I had a really tragic thing happen in my life, but it brought my husband and I so much closer,” she said, adding about her husband, “I adore that man. I adore him. And I thank God for him.”

Mary and Meredith’s friendship came to a head during RHOSLC Season 5 when Mary showed up late to Meredith’s bat mitzvah, resulting in Mary telling Meredith that she is “not always the victim.” Mary also accused Meredith of being a “sneaky little snarky little something” before throwing her out of her house, as seen in the RHOSLC Season 5 trailer. But by RHOSLC Season 6, Mary and Meredith were on good terms, going fishing together during the premiere episode that season. It was here that both women shared a laugh after Mary thought she could do CPR on a fish.
