A 24-year-old Florida woman allegedly met a man on Tinder only to steal his $37,000 Rolex watch and block his number after she left his high-rise Miami apartment.
Alexia Jocelyn Flores stands accused of grand theft over $20,000 but less than $100,000.
According to a probable cause arrest affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime, the victim called police around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday to report that a woman had stolen two watches.
The man lives at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Brickell Bay Drive in Miami. He said he met a woman named Alexia over Tinder and took her out to dinner, according to the affidavit. The victim said they went to his apartment, where they had several drinks.

The man was on the living room couch when the woman was dressing in the bedroom and getting ready to leave, the affidavit says. He told investigators that he escorted her to the elevator, where they “kissed goodbye,” and then Flores left in an Uber that the victim paid for.
After he returned to his apartment, he realized that two watches were missing from his nightstand, cops said. He tried to call the woman, but she had blocked him, the affidavit stated.
The next day, police administered a six-person photo lineup, and the victim identified Flores as the suspect. He also showed authorities the receipt to prove that he had bought the $37,000 Rolex.
Cops took Flores into custody on Wednesday. After receiving her Miranda rights, she confirmed that she met the victim over Tinder and that they were at his apartment — but she denied stealing the watches.
She said she believed she had been drugged and “could not recall what happened afterward.” Flores had not separately reported the alleged drugging to police, the affidavit said.
Flores was arrested and taken to the Miami-Dade County Jail, where she remains on a $7,500 bond. She has pleaded not guilty. Her next court date was not immediately listed.
